First playthrough: Stroud and random Hawke, chose Hawke to have a warden to rebuild. (Somehow got the impression only he was left to rebuild).
2nd: Loghain and favorite (female, sarcastic) Hawke, chose Loghain to keep Hawke alive and give the old bastard a heroic ending.
3rd: Alistair and favorite Hawke, haven't reached the decision yet but it will be... tough.

Just had to add: I had almost set myself upon sacrificing Alistair this time (the "poor Hawke is just an ordinary gal trying to cope with a cruel world" is a really good argument). Then, I had the conversation in Crestwood with him, and he mentions that he "some day, after all this, hope to reunite with HoF". No matter how flawed this decision point is, when I get there I will only have lousy choices. AAARGH!
