What would cross-game characters think of each other?

My Brosca dude and Lady Cadash would get along swimmingly, given that they're both ex-carta thugs who were thrust into heroism. They fell in love with penitent humans and managed to not f*ck up too bad. (A+ for effort, yeah?) He became a Paragon, she became the Herald of Andraste... it works. They'd slaughter darkspawn together and bond over no longer being spat on for existing. Awwyeah.
Would your Mahariel want to throttle Merrill for trying to fix the mirror that eats people? Would your Lavellan share her enthusiasm for elven history and lost lore? Would Sera think your Tabris is too elfy? Would your mage-liberation Hawke balk at your pro-Templar Trevelyan? Would your blue-blooded Aeducan scorn your Cadash for willingly accepting the (surfacer!) title of Herald? Does Queen/King Cousland get along with Viscount/ess Hawke?
I like to think Fenris and Zev and Merrill would all get along with Bull, and I could see Sebastian and Cass getting along provided he's not razing Kirkwall to the ground.
Have at it, amigos.

My Mahariel and my Lavellan would get along great. Given that the former is a big hero among the Dalish, and my Lavellan is about 10-12 ish years younger than my Mahariel is, I like to think Mahariel was a huge childhood heroine of her's growing up. She'd probably be begging for an autograph or something. I imagine there was some off-screen moment where my Lavellan started prodding Leliana (my Mahariel's romance) for juicy details about her personally or something, to Leliana's discomfort. Heh.
My Mahariel would dislike Hawke, though. For not setting Merrill straight when restoring that damned mirror. She suggested destroying that thing herself, now Merrill's trying to rebuild it; she'd be bitter with her, too.
The interaction that would be really, really interesting, though...is Mahariel and Hawke if the latter wiped out Sabrae Clan. Then, there would be blood.
...I also really want to see Shale and Vivienne try to out-sass each other...not sure how they'd feel about each other, I just want to see it. ![]()

I'd love to see my Queen Cousland join the Hawke and Inquisitor team up. My three 'canon' protagonists would get along, if they could agree on an approach to any given problem - but I'm sure diplomatic Cousland would get aggressive Hawke and snarky Cadash to play nice long enough to save the world. That woman could sell swamp water to the Chasind. Or they could all just stand in a circle and beat Anders with sticks - no arguments there. (They're all pro-mage freedom, but think that his behaviour was ... unhelpful. And Cousland would be upset about what happened to her good buddy Jutice.) And I wish my Cadash could meet Zevran or Isabela - they could flirt with everyone and stab everything! It would be great!
Meanwhile, one universe over, my Aeducan is not likely to be meeting Hawke or Inquisitor Adaar on account of being dead
. But if I could have my Adaar meet any character from the previous games, it would be Bethany Hawke. They have a surprising amount in common. (That character really came alive for me when I decided that part of his motivation for being kind and diplomatic all the time was that he was used to everyone being frightened of him - either because he's a giant horned mercenary or because he's a mage. I think that he and Beth would have a lot to talk about over tea.)
If my Templar Trevelyan had her way, she'd haul the Hero of Ferelden and Hawke back to the Circle. If Grey Wardens could be put in Circles, and if there was a Circle to haul them to. (That's a thing she plans to do something about as soon as she fixes that pesky hole in the sky.) Leliana probably wouldn't let the Inquisitor imprison her boyfriend, anyway. Even if he was rude to her, which he totally would be. Meanwhile, Surana and Hawke would get along like a house on fire. And somebody's house probably would end up on fire, knowing those two. Then Trevelyan would have to put it out, while sighing in a long-suffering manner.
I haven't got as far as importing this world state, but I'd hate to think what would happen if my Mahariel ever met up with Merrill again. He'd be delighted to see her and amused at how similar her new human girlfriend is to his beloved Morrigan ... right up until he found out what happened to their clan. Whoops.

Someone is jealous.
Brosca was planning on changing history as a dwarf, while he was successful in some areas, he didn't live up to what Cadash had did. Even though Cadash view Brosca as one of his heroes.

But any interaction between them would have to wait at least 24 hours since the HoF arrives Skyhold, because I doubt Leliana and the Warden would leave their room sooner.

My Tabris would despise Sera. S/He'd get along fine with Hawke, and definitely would be besties with the Inquisitor(mine rejects the Herald title). They'd def get along with Fenris and likely side with the templars, although moderate in their handling of the mage rebellion. My male Tabris would be proud of his son Kieran, and my female Tabris would beat the crap out of Alistair the next time she saw him for dumping her -especially after finding out he was part elf.

Hawke murdered basically everyone my Mahariel Warden grew up with. All of them. Her entire family is dead now.
So somehow, I don't believe they'd be very fond of eachother.

I think my Cadash and Brosca would play some prank on my Aeducan . Since she doesnt seem very bright...she never saw Bhalen coup coming ![]()

As for the Eluvian my Mahariel would be bitter with Merril,as for Hawke I don't think he'd downright dislike him,but he'd be a bit wary, mostly because even though he's a bit angry with Merril, he still considers her a friend and if Hawke hurts her in any way he's in big trouble.
I think my Tabris would have a love/hate relationship with Sera, especially after all she's been through on her wedding day. She'd understand where Sera comes from and why she might feel the way she does about elves, but she'd disapprove nonetheless. My Tabris is the kind of people that would make up stories about heroic elves to make the children feel better about being elves.
My Cadash wouldn't hate my Aeducan with a passion, since lord Aeducan was all intrigues, nobility and traditions. Her being a Robin Hood kind of rogue might get along better with my Brosca who even though despised getting involved in criminal acts because of her sense of honour, she did anyway out of necessity. While my Cadash doesn't feel as guilty about it (if at all)she can sympathise with and respect my Brosca for daring.
My Cousland is very Fereldan,he's all about honor and duty and despises politics. But he still has a witty sense of humour and this is the only thing he has in common with my Trevelyan, who enjoys politics and intrigue and has a rather hedonist mature.

Provided he's able to avoid the arrow trained on the point between his eyes, he'd just end up getting assassinated by the Merchants' Guild.

My Cousland Warden, Isabela and Leliana have sort of a "connection" to one another, so they'd get along just fine, so by default Hawke would be cool. My Trevelyan Inquisitor allied with the Wardens, so I suppose that makes them all OK on that front.
My Warden would likely dislike Vivienne, and would have little patience for much of anything she'd have to say. She's seen too much sh** to take any from her, though the Warden's status beyond the order would probably give her pause anyway. Sera would no doubt be extra nice to the Warden, by virtue of being the one that stopped the Blight at Denerim. She's friends with Oghren, so she's obviously endowed with a great deal of patience. Iron Bull would likely be met with indifference. There's just nothing remarkable about that guy, other than his man bosoms. The Warden would be wary of Dorian, because she has serious reservations about Tevinters, but that would pass once they get to talk.
Cassandra's closeness to Leliana automatically makes her a friend to the Warden. The Warden would likely be very glad to see how far Cullen has come from that frightened Templar in Ferelden. She would probably be indifferent, leaning toward dislike of Solas, given some of his views. Like my Inquisitor and just about everyone else, she would have no opinion of Cole, because he's constantly forgotten. My Warden would wonder why she didn't have a less abrasive, more sober dwarf on her journey through Ferelden when meeting Varric. The Warden would have serious problems with the presence of "Blackwall", not so much because he impersonated a Warden, because who cares, but the crime that led him there. The fact that he's been working hard to help others in need would obviously mitigate that, and he would at least be respected for trying as hard as he has. The Warden might hit on Josephine, if not for the fact that she knows that Josie will blab, and that Leli has eyes and ears everywhere.

My Mahariel would either be great friends with Solas or they'd be at each other's necks. He loves history just like Solas, but is very pro-Dalish which Solas wouldn't be too crazy about. He does, however, think that the elven pantheon weren't gods but powerful beings, so that could garner him some approval. Going to the Temple of Mythal would be a dream come true for him. He would probably hate Sera for her irreverence to history, the Dalish, and all things "elfy", plus he's a serious guy who wouldn't tolerate her pranks on top of all that.
My Cousland would get along swimmingly with Dorian! They've got the same love for style and while Lord Cousland is very happily with Morrigan and Kieran, they would indulge in a bit of harmless flirting. He'd also get along great with my Trevs. He'd be wary of Cullen though--after all, his most prominent memory of the man is him asking him to kill all the mages in Kinloch Hold. After getting to see how he is as commander, however, they'd be friendly.
I haven't decided yet if my Tabris knows Sera or not (they came from the same Alienage, but Sera left when she was very young so maybe not). Either way, they wouldn't get along so well even if they both have a love for jokes and pranks. There'd be a little bit of friction there. She wouldn't be too fond of Vivienne, she's not a fan of politicking at all.
I'd like to see some interaction between Blackwall and Sten, though. Their backstories are quite similar, but Sten owns up to it while Blackwall hides it. I'd especially like to see how they'd talk after Revelations (Blackwall's personal quest).

Fun topic!
I think that my canon Warden (a stoic and serious Aeducan warrior) would get along famously with my canon Inquisitor (a 'knight in shining armor' type Adaar warrior). I think both would appreciate the heroics from my canon Hawke (a sarcastic mage), but would probably eye-roll at most of his lines.
I think that my Aeducan would get along well with Aveline, Vivienne, Dorian, and Cassandra. Not sure how he'd feel about Varric.
Hawke has already met a bunch, but of the ones he didn't meet, I'd say that he'd like Oghren the best and I suspect he'd hate Sten.
I think that my Adaar would really like Wynne, but would butt heads with Sten and Oghren; and he'd like Aveline, Isabela, and Carver, but would not get on well with Sebastian, Merrill, Anders, or Fenris.

I think my Warden (female, elf mage) would get along with the Inquisitor and help if she could. I think that she would have by this time found some way to drag Alastair into a more public life as his confident. I also think that she and Morrigan would remain friends somehow.
My Hawk wouldn't feel like this Hawk. I am 100% sure she'd be like, This is soooooo not my fault. She'd help the Inquisitor, as well.
My Warden would have been so pissed that Anders turned out as he did and would have asked Hawk why she didn't kill his dumb ass. I don't think the Warden and Hawk would get along but probably because Hawk is a human. She also would have a serious talking to to Leliana about how she's changed. She'd also get along with Cassandra since they were both practical types.
Cullen would probably still be embarrassed around her but she'd ask him why the goatee is gone to get him back into shape.
Sten would be disappointed in how un-Qunlike the Iron Bull is away from Par Vollen.
Zev would love Josephine, would flirt with Cassandra to irritate her (she'd secretly love it). He would not get along with Varric because there isn't enough difference between them or similarity for chemistry.
Oghren would get along with Iron Bull, Sera, and Blackwall.
Zev and Dorian would dislike each other because of the competition for most charming thing. Dorian would love my Warden and wouldn't vide with Hawke.
Fenris would love Cassandra because they are a lot alike.
Shale wouldn't care and just be maximum Shale like always.
This is fun. ![]()
In my head, Alastair really only likes his fellow wardens so I'm not sure how he'd feel about everyone he didn't campaign with.
