Don't worry OP, they balanced out the human looking faces with eye-scaldingly hideous hairstyles and limited them to 3 so you can feel that connection to DA2 by having everyone's Qunari have the same hairstylist.
I wish I knew whose idea it was to make Qunari into underwear models... it's just so wrong. Give me back my Arishok!

I don't know why, but imagining Qunari in a barber shop makes me laugh.

There are so many evils and weirdness and problems and things that could improve DA, yet people are convinced that some pretty things are the problem....

Maybe it is only me, but I did find Qunari in DA2 to be very attractive and pretty in their own ways. Just look at those bodies
.
Iron Bull, on the other hand... Let me just say that I appreciate his personality, but his body not so.

See, you say that now, but just watch, in Da4 the warden will face off with a broodmother, but she'll be based of a supermodel somewhere, and then darkspawn will flood into the room and they'll all have chisled good looks and firm human buttocks.
Damn it woman, not everyone is supposed to be sexy!
The Arishok doesn't convert people to the Qun with his eyes, he burns their cities to the ground. And the day the darkspawn become pretty, I'm just out. The day the architect and the other magisters are sexier then I am, I'm out.

I like the Qunari in Inquistion. the DA2 Qunari are basically the same model with just slightly different horns. There is room to improvement, but I love the Inquistion Qunari. Expecially for the horns.
Having some horns like the DA2 ones would be cute, so having the chance to get the outside of the iris black. But the faces are ok, is in the hand of the player if the Qunari must be bad or good looking.
Qunari should never be cute... Sten would not appreciate being called "cute". The Arishok and his men would DEFINITELY not appreciate being called cute.

Sten play with kittens, have Winnie make a wool sweater just for him, and eat cookies. He IS cute.
He will never escape this, that big grumpy softye!!!

But we're Vashoth, thus we're allowed to show our contempt for the Qun by being adorable...

I like the females. I think the males must be modeled after Brock Lesnar. And the warpaint just makes them look like Juggalos. And that they walk around in tailored suits and act like humans is silly. There's just not enough of the alien and tribal qualities going on.. what's the point of making a Qunari if he's just some poser human? I can only think it's mean to be "cute"? Like those cartoons when you see a Gorilla in a suit.
Actually someone called them "marshmellow puffs" the other day. I'll just use that.
Male qunari = juggalo in gorilla suit. Nice. ![]()

Klingons had an identity issue in every Star Trek Franchise, why should Qunari be any different?

I don't really mind the redesign. I just wish there were more unique armor sets and climbing ladders did look painful for my Male Qunari.

Ok, maybe the player created Qunari need some work (but in this case, all races could use some more options, like hair), but I laughed when I read the title of the thread because Iron Bull looks like a failed science project, completely disproportional and badly animated (and the clown pants do not help). He is saved by the voice actor, really.

How does one make an aesthetically pleasing Qunari? I haven't been able to do it yet. I wanted to create a Female Inquisitor who had a similar face to Rasaan, but get one closer to Maraas than Rasaan.
I'm not sure what your tastes are (as that is more or less what defines attractiveness) but I recall playing around on the CC and creating a male Qunari that had a decent resemblance to Channing Tatum (not perfect, but some of the general shapes).
Since it's a rather large image
I think, with males, it's making the bulky necks work, and with female, well I tend to like how the wider jaws look on them ^.^ I myself haven't been able to create a narrow face look for them that looks nice (in my eyes). just my two cents ![]()

That's because the Klingons are too concerned with matters of honour and courage to bother looking in a mirror once in a while... ![]()
And the Elves are no different to the Qunari, they've been different in each installment as well.
Meanwhile, the Dwarves have only remained largely consistent in their look because no-one seems to really care enough about them to actually think of sprucing up their design, so they've benefited from the sheer lack of neglect?

To be fair, you have to be borderline-retarded to mess up "short, kind of fat-looking human".

Meh, Even the dwarves got prettier. Scout harding is kind of hot. Hell, my inquisitor is so freaking muscled and cut that no human could ever meet that standard of beauty.
Dragon age - pushing unrealistic standards of beauty on us, one race at a time.
Just wait, in DA4 the darkspawn will return, and they'll all designed with twilight vampire in mind. Bare chested, fangs, flowing hair and fabulous bodies. Your darkspawn LI will be better looking then the sexy new qunari who love everyone whether they love the qun or not, and everyone will accept everyone forever.
In DA4, your beautiful characters will battle not with their swords, but with words.

Ugh. A qunari should not look like channing tatum. He should be slaughtering entire villages with a badass battleaxe and those crazy qunari claws, with a stern, cold look in his eyes.
That's a human with horns.

I have no problems at all making proper looking Qunari in the character creator. The real problem is the fact that there are virtually no armors for them.

Is... is bioware biased against ugly people?
I doubt that, judging by all the "why is <insert character/race name here> so ugly?" threads.
