I wish I knew whose idea it was to make Qunari into underwear models... it's just so wrong. Give me back my Arishok!

Unfortunately, any effort that could have been spent on that was spent building beautiful, empty maps and recording a beautiful, unused soundtrack.

A qunari should not look like channing tatum. He should be slaughtering entire villages with a badass battleaxe and those crazy qunari claws, with a stern, cold look in his eyes.

Yet another beauty standard for qunari. When will the madness end? Real qunari, real beauty :P

But actually though, Bioware has changed their appearance each game. I have only the vaguest idea what an average qunari does look like XD (and the arishok is probably not average ^.^) so I create a character whose face I find appealing. Also...humans can have a stern, cold look in their eyes D: I don't even know how to make cold stern eyes in the CC...I'll try harder to create this normative look of the face next time :P

I wish we could have the Arishok back from DA2, or at the least be able to make a Qunari male that looks similar: horns and all.

When I think of a Qunari male, I tend to think of the Arishok in DA2, not the Sten who becomes Arishok later.  The dwarves just cover their faces with beards...Not sure what besides not being able to use magic makes them different from humans. We know Elves and humans have kids, Alistair is proof of that, do dwarves and humans in DA world have kids together?  For that matter can a kossith and a human have children?

It's been confirmed that Dwarves and Humans can have children together and that half-dwarves are taller than dwarves, but shorter than humans. They're more common on the surface, due to dwarves and humans interacting more often, plus the lack of stigma that those pairings have in Orzammar.

While incredibly rare, Dwarves can also have children with Elves, but they are basically indistinguishable from dwarves.

As for Qunari and other races, it's unknown whether they can have children or not? Those under the Qun are forbidden from interracial breeding, which might indicate that Qunari hybrids are possible, or might simply be because they don't want the elves/dwarves/humans under the Qun to interbreed and throw off their eugenics program?

Tbh I thought the qunari from DA2 were waaaaay hotter, particularly the Arishok. He certainly seemed far more underwear-model-y than Iron Bull and the Inquisitor. They're way too bulky. I'd love for them to bring back the DA2 models :>

Agreed. Arishok was a babe. Iron Bull is fugly - which was the point. I miss the Arishok's gorgeous face and decorative horns and ears. He looked like one of those pretty boy pro-wrestlers.

Makes me think of Sandal.

To be fair, you have to be borderline-retarded to mess up "short, kind of fat-looking human".

Yet they changed the standard "beautiful humans with pointy ears" to deformed fish-Na'vi hybrids with broken arms so you never know :wizard:

There's apparently a line in Legacy from some of the Carta dwarves that suggests Sandal might be half-elven and the illegitimate son of an Aeducan, who was abandoned in the Deep Roads, where Bodahn eventually found him?

(I say apparently because I've not heard it myself, just second hand from others, and annoying most of the let's plays I've watched to try and confirm it tend to have the players attack all Carta on sight, before any kind of dialogue is triggered? Can anyone actually find a clip of it?)
