When I was a kid I got one of those little electric train sets for Christmas. I fell carrying it to where it was gonna be set up and it broke.

 

The next year, I was given a new one, and this time it would be set up right there where it was given. But once it was turned on, it went into overdrive and crashed into itself, breaking yet again.

 

Didn't want one after that, but I told myself that when I became a father and had my own kids, if they came to want a train set, I'd make sure there's doesn't break.

 

So I've got that promise to myself going for me.

Though the only Toa Nuva I ever owned was Pohatu. I only started seriously collecting when they introduced the Toa Hordika (I still have a big thousand-piece siege set that I never actually finished building). I haven't bought any new Bionicle figures since they discontinued them. I do have some special figures though. I've got Brutaka and Axonn, and Vezon and Fenrakk, plus all of the Barraki, and most of the Toa Mahri. 

 

I think I'll collect and build the new reboot figures, but I don't think I'll be as invested into the story as I was the original line. Bionicle actually had some pretty cool plotlines.

I had him when I was very little and never liked him. I had a little stuffed animal (A chicken with a blue bow tie) that I was way more attached to.

 

Unfortunately I don't think finding a picture of Mr. Chicken is possible... I wonder if my mom still has it, packed away in a box somewhere?

Ninja Turtle Troll dolls, they were totally tubular in a half-shell! Would've still had them too if it weren't for wicked stepmother and her wild cleaning (purging of everything cool) sprees
