I don't know if anyone from EA or Bioware would be reading this but I want all of you to know that please... whatever you are planning in the next installment of Mass Effect or whatever it is called please focus on the story and the choices/consequences with it.

please take time to read this if not then what the hell.

My whole experience with Mass Effect 1 , 2 , and 3 where overall satisfactory!

Mass Effect 1 was an early concept of open world exploration during its time the story-line was epic and I enjoyed my teammates chatting

Mass Effect 2 just blew me away, the way how I explored Omega, Tuchanka, and The Migrant Fleet it was all unforgettable every map are carefully handcrafted with severe attention to detail, story whether it is someone getting stuck in the quarantine area or how the Quarians attempted to build a garden inside the fleet, and to top it all up with surprise action engagement with enemies. It is like a mixture of Mass Effect 1 and 3. I want this in the next mass effect.

Mass Effect 3 was very fun when it came to the action part of the entire series heck it was one of the best but it does have its flaws. The Journal system was horrible no updates whatsoever, The Heavy weapons was somewhat limited this time around, Level design was impressive no doubt. But the last minutes of the game after the attack on Cerberus station it all went down the drain even with the extended cut [don't crucify me just my opinion]

With Frostbite 3, I know you are planning massive exploration, beautiful worlds and galaxies but please do not forget about every corner of the map otherwise it would just feel empty. Skyrim has a huge map it became repetitive really quick but the dungeons, random dragon encounters and books saved it from becoming that bad not to mention mods.

I don't know if you guys are going to do a FRESH RESTART of the franchise or a reboot throwing the old crew into the recycle bin or something but I can't argue with that... it's your game your intellectual property I just hope you guys would address all issues if not most of the issues in the next mass effect or whatever it is called. It's not about Call of Duty or Skyrim sales... make the next mass effect truly a memorable and a classic game, we need quality games no more broken half cooked rushed games please if it is possible make Mass Effect what it truly is... and I am not an RPG fan... I am a FPS shooter since DOOM and Wolfenstein, Mass Effect changed that. I will surely miss the old crew though... thanks if ever you are reading this.

Many threads suggesting and offering opinions for the game can essientally be boiled down to "make a good game". OP said a lot of different things. Or did you miss that?

Well ok.

Two words: Resources and EA.

If you want a bugfree ME4 say goodbye to the potential 2016 launch date and say goodbye to EA which is impossible because Bioware is deeply integrated within EA nowadays.

I don't think EA is that much responsible for bugs in games. They set time limits, its the developers who have to fit within those. Depending on the size of the game it can end up buggy or flawless. Mass Effect 3 is arguably the most buggy game of the series, but you have to consider that it was much bigger than ME2 or ME1 and didn't get that much time for development.

Overall, of all the Bioware games I played, none were very buggy. Nothing compared to Skyrim or Fallout games which get 4+ year development time and are released in a state one might consider "beta".

Exactly. EA has a track record of rushing games out before they are ready.

Ironically their last E3 was a side-reel of game prototypes and not surprisingly a lot of those games they showed that came out were buggy messes.

They show games before they really should be shown off and they release them before they are ready to be released.

As for the ending controversy, I don't blame EA for anything but rushing the game out and I don't know how delaying a game works but I guess there was some stubbornness from Casey and Co. -- perhaps even Greg and Ray since they didn't recognize that the game might have needed half a year more.

But for example, that plot hole of the crew getting up on the normandy could've been partially fixed as could the plot hole with Anderson because there was unused cutscene files and dialogue at launch that depicted the answer to those confusing parts of the plot, yet Bioware released it without those quite vital pieces incorporated, perhaps hoping fans wouldn't be too frustrated with it.

But to say EA isn't responsible for the bugs? I disagree... I don't think EA has anything to do with actually developing it but their track records kind of suggests there might be issues or leniency towards playtesting and setting release dates.

Where does the year-long delay EA allowed for Inquisition fit into this track record?  And the later month-long one?

To be fair, EA has had that reputation before what's his face stepped down last year. When the new CEO stepped up he vowed a change in policy and so far it seems to be genuine.

Kind of implied, I'd say.
