Yeah you can't. Just run, that's what i do, the only point where you need to stick around and fight is where you close rift, everything else "skip skip skip"

Believe me, you don't want to progress further, 'cause then you'll be stuck dealing with females who look like men, blasted Hinterlands bears, useless chest, boring side quests and villain, inconsequential plot choices...

I know there are more, but that's enough for now.

DAI tutorial is pretty fun though. I like the location, enemies, layout (for a tutorial at least), music..

 

Somehow I killed that pride demon on Nightmare, took 2-3 tries.

A skip tutorial option would be nice or at the very least to disable those pop ups during it I'd be fine with that. Though I find the pop ups during it more annoying then having to do it repeatedly *shrugs*

I will do no such thing I took precautions before typing and everything! Also I've been commenting in other threads that haven't gotten locked, I think I either passed the curse or appeased whatever gave it to me.

The tutorials are for EA executives. It's not the most popular tutorial though. The most viewed tutorial is the one for powering up a console. Rumor has it, a tutorial for powering up a PC is being considered.

Doesn't honestly bother me much. Fealt more or less like a prequil of things to come but I guess I could see how it would get old. Then again, if you're tired of the tut then wouldn't you be tired of the rest of the game too. At least the story portions?

 

They had to start the game somehow and what better way then diving right into the story. You could remove it but just think about how odd it would feel just lifelessly being thrown into first area with your charracter just staring at the gates. Sure that's what you really want?

 

Each to their own though. And I guess in some respects I can understand being able to skip it at the very least. If only for testing purposes. I just think of it as more cutscenes and story in a game that feels a bit thin on both already

 

Off topic for just a sec:

Does it strike anyone as odd that they provide "spoilers" for their own game right in the tutorial? One of the coolest enemies in the game you are shown litterally 10 minutes into the game?

It stops being fun after you've done it 50,000 times due to being unhappy with player character...

 

Beat the Pride demon the first time on Nightmare. Ironically, I had more problems on Normal.
