Really, Evelyn is a rogue? I thought it said mage lol. I was hype that I guessed Inquisition's default. Well, I only got that one part wrong, I really thought it would be female human mage, but I was right with everything else.
And of course Hawke is dead. The fact Bioware even made it a choice is proof they just want to be done with him/her.

Hawke dying is no surprise. In DAO you had three other options other than the HoF dying and they still elected for the default being her dead. In this there are two options...knew Hawke would be KIA.

Alistair comic is set in the default world state. Warden is dead and he married Anora.
I just wish people would stop calling default canon.
No... I believe Alistair rules alone.

No world state is Alistair and Anora In the game. In the comic continuity, Alistair is King but (iirc) it's deliberately left vague as to the fate of the potential Warden, who his wife may be, etc.

If people think default=canon, then by that logic, ME canon is a renegade Shepard who pretty much killed everyone and never did any sidequests.

i hope they unlock all the options soon. i know most should be open, as ive completed every subplot of the game excluding shards and mosaics ![]()
also, there are many logicerrors - hope they're working on that too ![]()

I was talking about the comics.
I don't know why everyone is so hung up on default or canon anyway, they're just words. Still, there is some sort of canon existing in Bioware's head. That's why Wynne, Shale, and Leliana are in Asunder, even though it's possible for all the characters to have died in Origins, plus Sten as Arishok in the comics, as well. Be it "default" or "canon", whatever you want to call it, it's clear Bioware has their own agenda.

Pity Celene is canon, Gaspard would've been a better leader for the canon.

This default state sucks ass siding with mages again and kia Hawke. no thanks.

A man who would drag the world to war would be better for the cannon?

Out of curiosity- why?
There's something to be said for straight shooters, given his dislike of the game, but he also wants to get his conquer on Ferelden and I can't logic my way into a train of thought where that's acceptable or better for Ferelden. Or even for the average dude in Orlais.

Once again people think canon=default. No, it doesn't. It's only the options that have the least amount of references. Celene ruling alone is pretty much the status quo and thus less likely to have references compared to elf nobles or warmongers. Heck, the best Celene alone ending pretty much says life goes back to normal.
Why does the default matter so much? Unless you never plan on using the keep, it shouldn't matter to you.

The logic for the average Gaspard supporter is essentially "Celene was terrible in TME so Gaspard is better". That's literally what most of their arguments entail. Reminds me of the thread where the OP pretty much owned Gaspard supporters giving reasons to support Gaspard with OP's rebuttals being "why would I care about that" and "How would my character even know that?"

Those are not defaults, click on that cross in the empty square to create a new one, that one will be the default
What I mean is, the non-human worldstates are not ones I've copied over.

Yes, but did you tried to create a complete default? (you can always delete it). It's the only way to make sure what the defaults are. From what I've seen so far you are the only one who did not had human rogue as default.

Ahh, you're right. I guess the others were because of the last update which did some funny things to the keep

Not really.
The default is the world according to Bioware. The authors. This is how they want the story to play out. That's more "canon" than anything the players, who are not the authors, make.
*EDIT:
I read on and other people had already said what i said, in a much more fluent way

The thing is their default world state isn't the one where all the books and comics are set.
In the comic sten is now Arishock. But this isnt possible in the default world state because he never gets his sword back in the default world state.

Default doesn't mean canon. Canon doesn't mean default.

Hey, Elemental, did you copy your "playthrough" state? Just to check, because your actual current editable states don't actually update (they stick with the default). You have to go into Playthrough States, then copy it into your editable states.
I'm not sure I follow.
All of my 10 playthrough states feature the same default choices, when I drag them into my editable states they remain default. I have to manually change the choices that correspond with my playthrough.
