On my last 2 runs I was lucky Cullen never disappeared, but I can't, for the love of God, remember how I actually dodged the bug.

 

Since it's not been fixed by the latest patch, is there a way to prevent Sera's pranks from interfering with Cullen's quest?

 

I'm about to start my 3rd run and will side with the mages, I'd hate to skip Cullen's quest.

Just makes sure, when you come back after either HLTA or WEWH, you go to Cullen's office before you talk to Sera. Once his quest is done, go talk to Sera.
