So this is waaaay late, but im playing through ME2 again and i just got done recruiting garrus (already recruited Mordin) and went to talk to jacob. Usually, after the first couple lines i just choose "you are quick to trust me" but this time i asked him if he and miranda had a history. After getting a bit defensive and telling me to drop it (im male shep) the convo ends.

 

I was just wondering if this choice leads to unique dialogue in the future in which jacob gives more details about what happened between the two? Also, does he get pissed at me if i push it in the future?

Nope. He tells you to drop it and that's that. Nothing ever comes up about their relationship.

Yes. But if you're interested OP, you can learn a little more about Jacob and Miranda past before ME2 in 2 of the "foundation" comics. You can see the signs of their relationship in these 2 comics, but not much.

Its only matters if you're in romance with him. I flirted with him and then asked about him about miranda. he said they had a thing but it wasn't meant to be. The romance ended when I pressed him about miranda and him.

Nothing about Jacob's romance matters.
