It's not cancelled and never will be. They're more than halfway done with development on the game. Just wait till E3. I'm sure we'll get more info and probably a trailer then.

They will announce it once they feel it is ready.

Latest update was on Friday, wherein the Devs stated that "NME is a great place to jump into the series" and "there is no need to worry about saves".

I don't know if Killzone made it to number one but it was the last game he raved about.

I honestly didn't pay attention to his threads anymore after his first few but now that you mention it I do remember him talking about those games.

Beyond stood for perfection before Killzone which got lots and lots of praise a bit later and I'm curious on what game it is now

I played ME1 on 1152*864. When I got my current PC I played it on 1600x900

Marketing blah-blah. They also said ME3 was a great moment to jump into the series, ... I also always suggest to start with SW:RotS when I meet someone who didn't see Star Wars yet <_<

Big Mac Walters seems to be ups on asking questions in regards to how he should do his job because bugger if he knows/Asking what peeps want in the next Mass Effect on twitter at the moment. So, it's most likely still in development.

That's how it works.

Plus, ME3 was hardly a bad entry point. Sure, you witnessed the all out war from the very beginning, but in terms of introducing the lore, having you actually visit the alien homeworlds / locations, and everything in between was handled better than with the other installments, which mostly left it to codex entries.

But eh, that is in the past. We'll see what BW has in store for us in terms of ME. Personally not interested.
