I joined 4 games:

1) people were warping left and right (nope, not my computer, I have 30 ping and 0 packet loss to a server 500km from me) you took two steps forward, game warped you a step back

2) joined and couldn't move

3) after opening a door people were standing in place for 5 secs every time

4) people warping again. I quit.

I'm sorry, but it's really not enjoyable this way and actually the multiplayer part seems in worse condition than it was on release. ME3MP was pretty horrible at release as well but there at least you could feel things going the right direction. Here? Nothing.

So host your own game if you have a stable connection.

All the things you decribe there is the Host having poor connection / low end hardware.

So, um, like the other 100.000 people that can't join games then wait around ages to fill and have people drop halfway?

How about fixing the game instead? I seriously don't understand your train of thoughts - this should be a multiplayer game, where having reliable netcode is a basic requirement.

Bioware does not own your ISPs routing tables though, just as they don't control people that host on crappy connections/hardware.

I have not experienced what you described, save for a handful of matches in the ~110 hours I've played, and most of those hosts have been Baltic (Russian, Polish or in that region).

I tried it. Not internet problems.  I just played 1 game and sit there like....I'm not playing this and turned it off.  Fired up ME3 a little later on though.

ME3 MP is still kicking it and a lot of people still play.  Rooms always fill up and its different people too.  They screwed up so bad with DAMP.

There is no lag when you join a match and can't move. Other people and enemies move smoothly and you can use your abilities normally. You can even move around using some abilities. So it's obviously not caused by a bad connection.

Lol "host your own game"

Yeah and after sitting half an hour alone in the lobby start it by yourself. I really don't know what the hell is going with this games lobby system. I would really like to host but since no one ever joins it seems bit pointless...

I accidentally tried my first Perilous solo by "hosting my own public game", it was easier than I thought (made it to zone 4 as an Ele but got one-shot by a sneaky Shadow, might have succeeded if I were more careful) , but you know the netcode/region-lock thing in this game... Just pathetic.

Your imagination is not a good source for statistical evidence.

For most people it works fine so the issue is not with the game.

Loool now who is using their imagination. If the matchmaking was fine then why am I put in a lobby on my own when I do a quicksearch? This is despite seeing friends online with room available. I have waited 15+ minutes in my public lobby on threatening and no one joined, I have soloed several threatening games because I was hoping that someone would join my ongoing game but it never happened. I keep bumping into the same few pugs, which tells me theres either a region lock or there is something very wrong with the current player matching. A Bioware poster even said he would take a look at the problem after a number posters voiced their concerns.

Dunno man, I'm on the Xbone, which is so scarcely populated we barely clear challenges at all.

I always host a public solo sessions, and by the time I reach door 2, I usually have a full team dropping in. Also the connectivity is incredibly depended on the host when joining. I did have matches that were unplayable, but mostly it stays at a little hickup here and there.

This definitely sounds like an individual problem. Did you check your router ports etc?

You're not wrong that many folk experience issues from time to time.

I was curious to know where '100,000 people can't join games' comes from.

I may well be in a snarky mood reading more guesses masquerading as fact.

Oh well I'm from Oceanea and Asia area with 100 up and 100 down and I have this all the time because of their strict region filtering.

On other much better, less tacked on mp games my region is usually paired up with South Asia/ NZ/ AU/ Pacific Island Nations and South America, however with DA:IMP I am only matched with people who live down the street.

To make matters worse is the fact that my friends games don't even pop up for me when I am searching for a game. It seems the game would rather you start a new game, rather than play with others.

P.s. My ports are fine and so is everything else and every other multiplayer doesn't seem to have this problem.

Connection is solid 100/10 cable, ports open etc. I play other multiplayer games and have no connection problems. Problem is not in my connection.

I cannot solo **** in this game yet so this really is starting to get frustrating.

I'm going to go ahead and say from me it does not work fine, I always run into the same pugs, if I back out because I don't like the people who I'm playing with I get like 5 minutes of connection errors each time (it's got to the point that I remember the pugs and know who is bad or good or who leaches from previously being forced to play with them)

I still get put with the same leachers who I've blocked on XBL. Some times I get matched with groups and others I'll go 2-3 games with absolutely no one. This is the only game I have problems like this with.

Hahahaha! I don't mind carrying for friends, it's when you see the same guy over and over again afk in pugs. Unfortunately I must live close to someone that does exactly this. Don't make me sticky nade you again.

So they need to fix match making.

Yet another thing that is broken on this game.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or serious, but just in case you are being genuine, I'll bite.

The Weekend Challenge™ consists of an individual goal and community goal, which is platform specific. For example, last weekends was to level up 10 times for each individual player, and a few thousand times for each platform, can't remember the numbers of the top of my head.

The reward for the individual challenge is a commendation chest of crap, and the reward for the community challenge is a victory chest with an increased chance for unique salvage materials.

Edit: if you log in over the weekend, a screen will continually flash up to remind you of the weekend challenge that you may have already completed. You can track completed challenges and progress in a current challenge in the prestige section.
