Hello,

I would like to know if there is work already available that duplicates the human race in appearance.2da, including a renaming of the animations (and I think mdb files adapted is also necessary).

Something in a similar fashion to this swimming project:

but even without the need of different animations, just mere duplicates of the default ones would suffice, but having different names for the gr2 files.

What do you need them for? Renaming the animations will not work if you intend to use them for a different skeleton.

Exactly, and I don't know what else must be done. Would you know which steps would be necessary to make it work? I don't really need new animations, the existing ones would do.

This can be useful, for example, to make a character une one type of attack animation or another depending on whether he is under the effect of a feat or not, or changing running styles.

Then the animations you need have to be created, or a heartbeat script written to use a specific animation in specific circumstances.

What do you mean by created? I would reuse existing animations, like the alternative ones for example, and just use them in place of others by changing their file name to match the right tags.

But I am missing something that has to be changed... I guess inside the .gr2 files that are renamed.

Therefore, basically I would like to know if:
- It would be easy to apply those modifications inside those animation files and how it could be archieved, or
- If there is already something similar already done available in the vault - I've been browsing but didn't find anything alike.

The answers to your questions are:

- no, it's not feasible that way. Hence the need for recreating the animations.

- not that I know of.
