I mean, nobody should have to go through what she went through over a stupid comment, but man. Both appearance wise and apparently in her philosophy of how to approach games, I want nothing to do with her "style".

Is this guy the new SoulReborn?

Maybe he's a plant, like that Sony employee who shows up every so often to post threads bashing Microsoft.

Now I know why I remember her name.

She wrote one of the best quests in DA.

Sad to see her go.

Stupid-ass gamers.

Don't care what she thinks about gaming or whatever.

I don't like fights either.

Good at writing and that's all that matters.

I wonder how her book is coming along? Last I heard she was writing something educational, I think for people getting into game development. Sounded like a project she was enjoying.

I only now came back, assuming this would be flippantly treated which would rather sicken me as a gaming fan - but THANK YOU 2nd tab posters minus one, maybe. But I trust u are just charmingly playful, eh.  ;-)

But as a firm PC (=M&KB) RPG gaming fan - I abhor that scripted fights are creeping into PC gaming. Jennifer Hepler, I so get you!

TW2 tentacle thingy, as an example - but not for the whole gameplay that I thought exceptionally good for PC / console cross-over - but strongly besides Dethmold whose pimple-popping and slave-raping characterisation I cannot reconcile personally.

So let us tab away the tentacle thingy fight... and Jennifer Hepler, would I have also not have loved to have u contribute to Dethmold etc! Win-win, I think.

DA:I - sorry to say, when a PC gamer has to perma-click to attack, WASD to butt-face your opponent as opposed to THAC0, to loot with an animation (with very precise WASD thing on top).

Jennifer Hepler, I so get you! I cannot imagine you forgot about mouse right n left click - but that tab would have actually been so nice with DA:I...

TheBlackBaron - "stupid" - how so?

Are you Controller (console) or M&KB (=mouse & keyboard) user, though? From a PC point of view, I think that DA:I was very tedious in terms of fighting - do you remember back to Baldur's Gate series, when coming on top of a boss fight was an actual pleasure, and could be executed in quite so many ways?

Of course, there was the most compelling story telling too.

DA:I is meanwhile quite diluted, I perso find, but the saving grace for me was Flemeth. Then again, I do not think she would have bitched Jennifer, actually. :-)

while i disagree with hepler's stance on "skippable gameplay", nobody deserves to be treated like how she was treated back during the great dragon age forum rebelion.

But why bring this up? does anyone know wtf OP is even refering to?

All the dead users in this thread is creeping me out.

Thankfully Zombie T was stopped before he claimed more victims but it was too late for many.
