Amazing work, thank you for doing what Bioware Would not.
Hi everyone, im one of the modders that is working on DAI, so far I am working on one hairstyle at the moment but im hoping to make more for all races/genders specially for Qunari.
here is what i came up with so far, its not finished yet, still working on it....
It's amazing!!!! May I ask you where do you keep your mods? Not on Nexus - have not seen anything like that there.
Oh, and if you ever need a beta-tester, just say a word!

This thread brought a tear to my eye. I too would like to beta-test
The installation of this mod will be trough MOD manager I guess?
Just my luck ~sighs~

Give the ModManager another try. They did fix it. Last version plus following the instructions to the letter make wonders!
Those female Qunari hairstyles are so good..
This one's my favourite.
YES! YES! I love it!
As soon as you release this, I'm starting a new Qunari female.
Amazing work, thank you for doing what Bioware could not.
Yes because they rather focus their time and energy on other things rather then improving the game's CC selection. But truth be told you did something that the Devs never really acomplished, giving us the cool hairstyles. And that really means a lot to us players.
If The DAI team is very talented as you say, they wouldn't have come up with these poor excuse for hairstyles within 4 years of development. i'm thinking it's down to laziness seeing that they focused on useless war assets and side quests that serve no purpose to this game other then to waste our time. It's an interesting idea though, but poorly executed with basically zero impact on anything.
You know, I'm actually in software development myself. I don't think you folks understand that, with deadlines and funding being a concern, you can't always deliver things like that hairstyle that everyone loves. Different folks like different things.
And EA isn't very understanding with this kind of thing. Anyone remember the original ME3 ending? Chances are, Bioware had the patched ending in the works (probably just needed a few more things before it was ready). But EA wanted the game released before they got a chance to add the better ending. Fortunately, Bioware had the patched ending ready to go a few months later. That one was all EA's fault, not Bioware's.
Point is, you guys need to be more cognizant of the realities here. It's not that Bioware could not or didn't want to do these things. It's that hard deadlines are not negotiable, so they didn't have time to make enough hairstyles to satisfy EVERYONE.
I've been using your new hair mod and it works wonderfully. Just as you say, the hair does revert during combat but who cares. It looks fantastic in cc and in cut scenes. As for the little black lines you noted before, they were only visible once at the very beginning. And haven't noticed them since. And I'm not sure if this was stated, but this new hairstyle only works on human females? I tried with a fem elf and the style wasn't there.
Apparently I somehow failed to see a download link...where is it? lol

Tested it on my Inquisitor. Minor ear clipping that can't be helped, so I stretched her ears a bit
but other than that it works fine for me, no glitches! I remade my Marion (already planned to, since I wanted to give her blue eyes) and tried it to test it out. It's lovely!

@SeraphaelDo u want that hairstyle for Solas or the inq?
The inquisitor please. I'm greedy that way. I take all the best loot...and all the best hair. ![]()
Besides, I like Solas just the way he is.
Nice, whoever made those god awful hairstyle for this game, didn't really think it through. I will say that DAI has thee worst hairstyles I have seen in any game's CC.
First of all males and females should have different hairstyles, not share them. There is nothing more cringe worthy seeing a male NPC have a hairstyle with a bun or Celene's hairstyle.Secondly, each race should have at least three hairstyles specifically design for that race. There is only one female hairstyle that is tolerable-the shoulder length hair with bangs swept to the right, the rest to me are just butt ugly. One of the reasons I'm waiting for Modders to come out with far better hairstyles then Bioware's own crappy team who lack imagination for hairstyles. The developers should be embarrassed by these hairstyles. A mullet may have been cool back in 80s or even on Macgyver, but for a Dragon Age game? No just no. Can you just imagine if Gandalf wore a mullet?
I have seen this post before, not sure why you would try and copy another's person's words instead of using your own, but here is where I found the original post : http://forum.bioware...ght/?p=18735283 please if you have concerns of some features, use your own words weather if English is your 1st language or not, its always good to use your own opinion instead of someone else's

look the point is that you did something Bioware's own Crappy team did not. I don't believe the DAI team is very talented as you claim cause they wouldn't have made crappy hairstyles for this game within the 4 years of development. That's MY opinon... Now thanks to you im not even sure if i can post anything here anymore with out being called out on it. ![]()
Adela did you do hair mods in Skyrim?

Just post ur own stuff or quote the one u borrow from
Its not so hard, dont really think Adela was out to get you.. Keep posting!
Thanks i guess, frankly Bioware should have just went with DAO/DA2 Hairstyle instead of all the crappy hairstyle we've got. It's a very lazy design in my opinion cause they didn't even try hard enough. Out of all of those awful hairstyle, Male Hawke's hairstyle is the only 1 i like, i'm surprised they didn't include fem hawkes hair from DA2.

i really do like the undercut hairstyle though ![]()

Which 1 is that?
Is it possible to make Cullen/Alistair hair available for Inquisitor? This is the only thing I'd like to have regarding to DA:I hair.
By the way- great job with these hair mods!
I have not been this excited in a very - very long time. Adela, you are truly the hero we've all been waiting for. I've taken hiatus from playing the game again until a girly hairstyle becomes available that I can stand to look at without wincing in pain.
Do you have an estimated timeline for when some of the hairstyles shown in your original post will be finished? One month? Six months? A year from now? I'd love to be able to anticipate when I can start playing the game again without checking back every week for gradual updates.
Thank you for all your hard work! ![]()
Thank you for taking the time to do this! Looks amazing so far. ^__^

I second this request.
You are awesome, thank you for doing this ![]()
