So time and again I have seen people reference the VA's and it seems 9 times out of 10 people say they used the accented Male VA for their Human and said the Non-Accent VA was pretty much exclusive to the Qunari because the voice sounds too "Big" for a Human. As someone with a deep voice myself I guess I might be biased, but it sounds and looks okay to me.

I prefer the Non-Accented VA for all.

I like his delivery and his range is pretty much spot on for the most part. Especially during the sarcastic/humorous replies.

Am I the only person on planet Earth that has never used the Accented Male VA?

I've only made two male characters, but I used the american VA each time.  Was a human and a dwarf, it seemed to fit more with how I wanted them to sound

No you are not, I think the accented one is too high pitched for any of my males of any race. Even my male Lavellan has the American voice.

To me the British one, not because of the accent, but because of the pitch, comes off as "O gee, let me play nicey nice wimp for you and, we'll all get along okay sweetie." and just don't like it.

All a matter of personal taste I know but, you're not alone in never using the British male voice.

Good.

I have nothing against the Accented VA its just something about it just doesn't strike me as how I want my guy to sound and present himself.

The American VA seems to project more authority in his voice and as I said I like the delivery of his sarcasm/humor

Yes well, I suppose it depends on where you hail from. Only two have accents to my ears, but I'm American and, neither has any distinctive American regional accent so, to me that's no accent.

Thank you.

The American accent sounds deep, works ideally for Dwarves, Qunari, and in my experience, 2-Handed Warior humans. The English accent is my preference for human Rogues.

The English accent does the snark, and silly lines much better, whereas the American accent works much better for the stuff leading into direct combat, and battle.

Ah, I see. I always forget that Americans think that they are the only people in the world that do not have accents.

LOL @ Americans have no accent. :P

The only English speakers that can claim to have no accent are those in England, since that's where the "modern" English language originates from :D

No, they still have accents and dialects. English didn't develop along a straight line. It's both a romance language, and a Germanic/Finnish one. So, even the people that helped it develop from old, to modern were still affecting accents from their precursors.

Even areas in the U.S. which are generally considered to have the lightest, or most non-existent accents, like the Northwestern sections of New England, still have specific ways to say words. Water becomes wadder, as does any word with a double t sound in the middle. Ts are also dropped from the end of words, even if there's not twang, drawls etc. in the speaking pattern.

Men with deep voices are sexy. I used the deeper voice for my first human and the softer voice for my second human. Both work.

Relevant.

And bitches pls. You always  have an accent. There is no 'default' accent. It's all relative to where you are and possibly which language you're speaking.

What you mean by non-accented VA? I'm under impression that all people speak with some accent.

Yeah, the one without an accent is far and away the best for both sexes. American sounding voices have no place in Thedas....

Do people from other places also claim not to have an accent?
