I really liked it, The campaign is rather short, but then I kinda rushed it a bit. The nemesis system is boss though.

 

I haven't had any problems with the map.

I just started it, but then again I was half-asleep so that might be why it confused me.

I guess I didn't really understand how it worked. It's been a few days since I played it. I had literally just started it, so I might try again.

Does this game utilize the over-the-shoulder controls like in RE4 and 5? Or does it still have the clunky tank controls of the original?

 

I could never play the earlier games because the controls were awful.

I could never play the earlier games because the controls were awful.

 

No the camera is still fixed but they did add in a new control option. Now Jill or Chris move in the actual direction you push the joystick in. It's still a bit weird at times especially when you enter a new area and the camera angle changes. But it's way better now and easier to maneuver than using the original tank controls. I couldn't play the original game for long either because of that too.
