I decided to go nug hunting around Haven with my S&S warrior and so I put a point into grappling chain. But it doesn't work. The animation of the chain going out shows, but the nugs/rams are not pulled towards me. What's going on?
Why isn't grappling chain working?

i believe it only works on humanoids and some demons who aren't immune to physical effects. It is unfortunate.

So if I want to go ram hunting I'm going to have to take over one of my other party members (an archer or mage) to catch the thing?

Ya, if you're a warrior, i usually just do the quick order to attack my target to get winter's grasp on the thing and then i close in with charging bull + mighty blow/whatever, dead.

It sucks that it doesn't work on them or any other animal. Oh well. What I did is have a made use winter grasp on the animal. Even an archer would work as well.
When I played as a warrior, I used the grappling hook the most. I like it
