Might be the "color" that u picked, not sure.. My hairs also look very shiny while im on this "older" graphic card - does not matter how i set the mesh options on ![]()
I noticed the hairs kind of look a bit "shinier" after the latest patch even on ultra. Not sure though.
Have you updated your hardware?
A closer shot would be a help.

That's how the lighting works - both all Ultra settings except Post Processing is on LOW. Only change is the lighting, both are in the central area of VR very close to the same location, just moved enough to change the lighting for the picture.
Shine

No shine

Anyways i decided to choose a different color and voila! No more shine! Only the black color appears this way i think. It's the lighting i guess?

Yeah, I updated my drivers too. I am currently using GTX 970 and the latest drivers. The game is patched too.
Yeah black hair generally tends to look super shiny and more grey-ish in this game. At least on the characters I've made and in my experience, that is. Mine also always turn out to have blue eyebrows when I give them black hair it seems... though I suppose that'd be another matter. hah

If you want black black black hair/eyebrows, you can try this tool:

Thanks. I love nexusmods and the things people create. Unfortunately, I'm playing DA:I on PS4. So, no luck for me. Anyone I create with black hair seems destined to forever be cursed with blue eyebrows and grey hair. Maybe my characters just want to create a statement? lol
I don't understand what happened with hairstyles. The character artists at Bioware are very talented people, taking a look at the game or their personal portfolios and it's evident they got the right people working there. Just, what happened? How can you create those hairstyles? I just don't understand....
