Jason was so loyal to Zordon, he was tasked with defeating the green ranger against all odds. He completed his mission, led the rangers to success and how was he rewarded?  Zordon gives Tommy a new suit and makes him the new leader.  Then to add insult, they bring Rocky in to replace Jason. 

 

Jason will ALWAYS be the leader.

 

He came back briefly as the gold ranger to lead the team, but ultimate gets screwed again.
