Aside from the fact that tactical combat is definitely broken (while still fun when it happens to casually work) and companion ai is a joke , on my second playthrough i am beginning to notice how ridiculously bad and glitchy enemy ai is .

For istance :

-templar stronghold in the hinterlands :  with an archer you can shoot the 3 last templar at your leisure a couple of meter afar and they won't react .

-the hessarian leader in the storm coast :same thing . the dogs charge , he stands still , then when the dogs are down he doesn't attack while my characters switch to him.

-in the venatory stronghold in western approach if you chain grab the boss from the bottom of the stairs the goons won't react.

-creatures may enter in a loop of attack-retreat if you are beyond their (generally very limited) range : this is particularly glaring considering the skyrimesque scope of the game.

-in general even in close quarters in some istances if you don't enter melee there is a good chance the creature will stand still without attacking .

Yeah... the AI weakness was exposed the first week after game launch. it seems patch 5 has not addressed the issue.
