I currently have 2 780ti's (3gb mem each) running in SLI on a PC with an I7 4790 4ghz running a 32" Acer monitor @ 2560x1440 resolution.  My avg frame rate is 48fps (which goes up much higher in interior sections).  I'd read posts of people having flickering graphics, but I never ran into it until the Exaulted Plains.  The most recent Nvidia driver, 347.52, seems to address multiple issues for the 900 series of cards.  The 780ti, while a fine card, is no longer manufactured, and I assume nothing will be done to further optimize this card.  So my questions for the 980 (or any of the 900 series) users that run in SLI:

1- Have any of you noticed an improvement with the newest driver?  Improvements being "graphic flickering" either being eliminated or reduced.  Or did you even have it in the first place, especially in the Exaulted Plains?

2- What is your avg fps and at what resolution.

3-  I have to upgrade my cards at some point this year, is the difference between 2 780ti's and 2 980s in sli worth the upgrade (based on DAI)?  It doesn't seem like it would be to me, but I'd rather hear the opinion of some of you gamers that run the 900 series in SLI.

Thanks for you time/comments.

Games are always grumpy when it comes to multiple GPUs or overclocking,it's best to use the exact same GPUs,NVIDIA's SLI is more strict on the types of GPUs you can use together than AMD's CrossFire, but each have their own dis/advantage.
That's why i prefer to buy just 1 "super" GPU lol, less issues.
All you can do is wait for GPU/game update or disable SLI/CrossFire.

I have a single 980 and imo you dont really need the 2nd card unless you are gaming on 4k.  I have everything ultra except AA and averaging 35 fps.

If I drop down to 1440p, I average 70 fps.  With MSAA4x/High Post Process AA, 55-60 fps.  Hope that helps.

I have 2 Nvidia GTX 980's in SLI configured in my rig. And I'm capable of gaming at 4K. The newest Nvidia driver has done wonders for not only the graphical glitches of DAI, but also random CTD's I was experiencing prior. That said, SLI is actually worse on the 980 currently. I run with a single 980 now and all graphical glitches are gone. The instant I switch to SLI mode, the entire game falls apart.

I wish they would be able to optimize this, but I'm content with the current stability of the game.

I'm actually thinking of going 970 SLI, I have one atm and am averaging 60+ fps with no MSAA but the rest on Ultra. I really want to play a perfectly smooth game with 4xMSAA, is it possible to achieve this, gaming at 1080p with two 970s?
