I cannot tollerate the way campaign is any more

Now on with the issues and problems I have with campaign:
1. The war table has no instructions. Says perform the scout the hinterlands operation, and then never goes over how the hell you're supposed to do it.
2. Two Haven quests, The right armor, & Requisition for weapons, both tell you talk to an NPC to do them, while not spawning the NPC'S you have to talk to in order to turn these two quests.
3. There is a craft and upgrade armor table, and an equip and upgrade potion table, but No craft potion table.
4. The equip potion table says to click an empty slot to put potion in it, but clicking an empty slot does nothing, and what happens when there are No empty slots, you wouldn't be able to put a different potion, due to there No longer being an empty slots to click as it says to do.
5. There is No way to assign ability/stat points that I know of. I am Level 3 and I have never seen any screen that allows point distribution that I have found. So I guess I have 3 stat points.

I am posting this as a rant, not for people's two bit opinion about what they think of me or if they think this is a troll topic or whatever. If others are not having problems good for them, I however am so people can keep thier two-bit option of/about me and their option about how they had/have no problems outry of this topic.

I know that you no longer have the option to assign stat points when you level up. It's jarring at first, I understand your confusion. I miss that feature.
As for crafting potions, there's a mage located in Haven, in a little hut behind where Solas stands. He has potion crafting set up in there.

There are way too many inconsistencies, incorrectly stated and non-existent instructions which makes this a mess.

1. In Haven go to the Chantry. Enter the wartable room all the way at the back. Click on the wartable mission which are usually highlighted with a Plus sign for those to be done. An exclamation point for those that are ready to report. Follow read the briefing and decide which advisory to assign based on the briefing. Josephine for diplomacy, Leliana for espionage and Cullen for Force.
2. For the right armor quest talk to the blacksmith (Harritt) near the stables close to Iron Bull. The Quartermaster (Threnn) is right outside the Chantry over by the tents near Leliana.
3. The potion table is in the middle hut near Solas. The one with Adan in it. Adan will also give the quest Passing Notes.
4. Potions can be added by dragging the potion recipe to an empty slot at the potion Equip table. You can then click on that potion in the slot to increase the number of potions as long as you have the necessary ingredient. Upgrading the potion can be done at the Upgrade potion table as long as the party has the necessary type and amount of ingredients. The upgrade has to be researched
5. Stats points are no longer directly allocated. Upon level up certain abilities can be unlocked to give attribute increases. Finding certain gear or crafting gear allows the gamer to increase the attributes of a party member.

And I'm really tired of people saying there are options on the war table that No one has bother to take the time to explain how the hell they got to the options in the first place.
You can't say there areally quests and things to do without explaining how to gain access to them.
Perform the scout the hinterlands operation can only be done if there are instructions for triggering the mission which there aren't.
Can't just throw someone onto the war table, and say do this

That is strange. My experience greatly differs from yours. What platform are you on?

It's right there on the war table in Feraldan once you're told to do it...
30 second google found http://guides.gamepr...de.asp?ID=27889 which shows exactly what it looks like...

Moral of the story? Bioware needs to learn how to be MORE transparent OR have step by step instructions on EVERY new mechanic which can be turned off individualy or globaly for those that do understand it or have figured it out.
A game that was arguably built for casual players but doesn't explain itself for shyt? Yea good thinking there ![]()

Once you close that tooltip, you have a map and that's it. No further tooltips, no instructions, no nothing.
Instead of being thrown into a map with no instructions and left hanging, you're'supposed to be given the exact instructions on how to go about doing the scout the Hinterlands operation.
I'm also sick to death of people saying to use outside sources s
For information that is supposed to be in the game such as Google, to justify ****** poor programming and lazy-ass development.

Over. But the platform does not matter because the problem is the same on everything. You get to the war table for the very first time and go through all the useless dialog crap. You are then given tooltips and one saying click the fereldon side of the war table. Once you do that, anothertooltip that says, "Perform the scout the Hinterlands operation now".
Once you close that tooltip, you have a map and that's it. No further tooltips, no instructions, no nothing.
Instead of being thrown into a map with no instructions and left hanging, you're'supposed to be given the exact instructions on how to go about doing the scout the Hinterlands operation
The Instructions are there. The Plus signs indicate what missions can be performed. If you mouse over the plus signs one of them will highlight the Scout the Hinterlands mission. Click on the mission and the instructions will pop up. You then can assign which adviser will do the mission. In fact the Scout the Hinterlands operation only allows for one adviser: Leliana.

You're going to seriously try and say that right after you closed the tooltip that says perform the sciut rh hinterlands operation, that it instantly gives you another tooltip that explains how to actually perform that operation.
You really want to try and say that. Ok then this is what
I want you or anyone to to do. Start a new game and once you get to the wartable, and you close the tooltip that says perform the scout the hinterlands operation, to explain exactly what has to be done between clsing the tooltip to getting thesr so called plus signs on the screen.
There is supposed to be a tooltip that explains all this, and there is not.
So people need to quit saying it's explained, because it's not

If this information exists, there is No instructions on how to get that information into your journal.I take it you're talking about he journal?
After you close the tooltip that says perform the scout the hinterlands operation it's nothing but a map which has a green mist on it which represents the portal you already closed.
Other than that there is nothing else. There are also no tooltips or anything else about how to do anything regarding anything about the hinterlands.

You have to do that first, and then more quests will open up as you progress further. That also requires you to do activities in the regions that are available. You find your first shards, and that will open up a new operation that leads you to another region. You mark locations for security towers, and then you get an operation to build them. Most of the operations you find only unlock as you progress the story or talk with certain NPCs.
Scout the hinterlands is done by selecting it, and activating it on the Fereldan side of the map as well as choosing the advisor that pops up. Once you do, a cutscene will occur and you'll be given the option to travel there. It's not that hard. You must have a bad copy or something, because I've got both the 360 and XBone versions and they work fine.

I am not sure what instructions should be in this case. Click on the only operation available on the Ferelden map? And then on the only adviser available for this mission?
Inquisition sure could benefit from some more detailed tutorial, but this one seems pretty straightforward. You might have some bug.

Stat points are unlocked as you select certain perks in class trees - each describes a perk, and then the amount of points that will be added to the corresponding stat, i.e. - +3 Cunning or Willpower. They're the circular nodes in the class tree.

All anyone keeps saying about the wartable is what to do After they have already accessed the stuff on the table which doesn't matter unless you have already been explaind how to access them first. Which where the problem is

How do you access this mystery screen in order to assign the points.

You open the character record,
I guess bioware assumed that people were intelligent enough to guess that they need to click the only icon that shows on the war table

Bioware is clearly way too dumb when it comes to providing the instructions to things they want you to do for the first time and that will be getting used throughout the game.
There is No way to do the hinterlands Operation without the instructions on how.
I just closed the tooltip that said, perform the scout the hinterlands operation and I'm now looking at the map, and there are no instructions/tooltips saying wtf has to be done at this point.

I'm pretty sure this is a troll...
No one can seriously be asking for instructions on how to click the big green icon/text that clearly says "Scout the Hinterlands".
http://guides.gamepr...de.asp?ID=27889
You see the third picture on that link? Where it says "Scout the Hinterlands" in big text? With a big red circle around it? Click it. Then click on the Leiliana card to complete it.
