Chill people, us "old farts" can't expect youth that can't even write "Dragon Age: Inquisition" in cursive to understand that being told to scout the Hinterlands the, being shown a glowing green mass means you should probably click on that glowing green mass. Just like letters don't connect for them, that simple tutorial doesn't connect either.

 

But if someone finds the game that confusing, there is the Great Game Guarantee (If bought through Origin) or the possibility of being able to return it to a retailer or, trade it for a less complicated game, like maybe Tap Tap Bear. [Sorry all I could think of off hand that was less complicated to learn to play.]

You ass clowns are the reason games have become all screwed up..You all don't even know the difference between hand holding and instructions are, and then you all whine about how even the smallest of explaination is hand holding. When it comes to game basics, that's not my responsibility, and I refuse to look anything up and I sure as hell will not do any thinking or expetimentation with anything. I will be given the how to do thing by those damn lazy-ass developer clowns.

I paid for the game and it's supposed to come with instructions. So you're Damn right I'm going to make the devs give me the how-to information because I'm not doing jack for work because it's a game not school.

You keep claiming that the basic intuitiveness of this game is "work" for you. Have you been diagnosed with a developmental disorder?
There is absolutely no shame if that's the case. Some people's brains are just wired differently than others. Not better. Not worse. Just different. 
(I'm actually dyslexic, but I've found ways to work around it.)
If you're having so much difficulty with Inquisition, you might find a different game suited to your abilities to be more rewarding. Best of luck to you.

You do have to speak to the Apothecary. 

 

There is literally an option where you ask him how to make potions and he directs you to the table itself. 

 

 

If you are gonna complain at least complain about something that you know about and not just yammer on blindly and incoherently about something you obviously know nothing about.

 

Did it ever occur to you that the War Table didn't need to be explained because its blatantly obvious how it works? That the vast majority of people picked up on it immediately and never thought twice about it?

 

You are literally the only person I have ever seen on this forum (I have played since launch) that has complained about the "Issues" you stated. Not saying you have no right to complain. I am just saying if you are gonna complain you should probably do so in a more mature and cohesive manner rather than just face rolling your anger all over keyboard. 

 

Otherwise you are of course going to have people calling you an idiot. It doesn't help your case either that when people point out the likely reasons why things are such a way you dig your heels in and act shocked that anyone could possibly not see it your way.

Go play for an entire playthrough or even to level 10-15 and then come back and say whatever you want. NOBODY is consciously going to back up anything  you say knowing that you didn't even put in the effort learn anything on your own. You're making it too easy to bash you at every turn. Unless you really are trolling. Ither way at least we got some entertainment from it. So thanks

What the NPC actually says is he himself makes the potions.

In fact, all the NPC's and the journal entries outright say they themselves make the items, and that means, you do not click on a table, you instead have the NPC do it somehow. As soon as you click on a table, you are now making things instead of the NPC.

So people need to quit trolling and acting like they can't comprehend what they read.

Seeing as I am playing on my brand new Rogue Archer and was talking to him for the first time WHEN I made that post there is an option when you first speak to him on the bottom left regarding the making of potions. 

 

He then tells you about the potion table and the conversation is ended. 

 

You are now the one making stuff up. Seeing as you are making no effort whatsoever on trying to learn anything on your own and whining about how the game needs to not only spell out each and every thing to you but it needs to prostrate itself before you and hand you the answers on a gilded silver platter at your every whim.

 

I am on my 4th character now so that means that is the 4th time I have had to talk to him. So don't try and insult my intelligence and pretend like he doesn't say the exact thing I have heard him say 4 times now. 

 

 

Multiple people have now informed you how things work and the likely reasons as to why they work that way.

Quit manipulating what he says.

He says nothing about a table to make potions. He only mentions upgrades and refilling. There is also No craft potion table like there is supposed to be.

BIOWARE has screwed up every game they have made because they cannot keep things consistent and simple. There is a craft armor table and a modify armor table, there is a n upgrade potion table, but No craft potion table...So idiotic and pointless.

BIOWARE also screws up thier games by filling up on screen, tooltips with complete and utter crap, instead of useful information that is needed in order to play. There is also no learning curve because of that type of crap.
