Using Citadel Epilogue Mod with John P's MEHEM W/O altering the "End of An Era" theme?

How do I go about that? I'm a fan of just about all the ending alteration mods for ME3 but I am strongly against ruining the music and breaking the tone of ME3. I think ME2's victory music is extremely ill-fitting to have at the end of the Citadel DLC and especially as an epilogue because I'm supposed to feel sad and melancholic about saying goodbye to the ME Trilogy cast. I'm not supposed to think "**** yeah, we did it!".

One way you can do it right now is using the manual installer of CEM Full or Lite and simply don't replace the DLC_EXP_Pack003_SFX.afc. Run the DLC TOCBin Updater instead of using the included PCConsoleTOC.bin file, and you'll have the original song.

I do foresee releasing a new version at some point here (already fixed some awful Traynor Kapesh-Yakshi lines) where the automatic installer version will include options for 2, maybe 3 songs; one of them being the original song.

Oh, so wait, I think I might have screwed up. I replace all file but not the SFX .afc and not the CookedPCConsole.bin.

I did the former but not the latter because I replaced the old CookedPCConsole.bin. Do I have to redo it then?

As long as you didn't put in the SFX.afc, but put in all other files, even if you did put in the bin file, you're golden. Just run the DLC TOCbin Updater and you should be fine.

If you did put in the SFX.afc file, no big deal. Just repair the install of the Citadel DLC or use a backup of the Default.sfar and give it a go again.

Okay, I replaced all but the SFX.afc and CookedPCConsole.bin's now and I'm about to run the DLC TOCbin Updater. I hope it all works.

I'm using Anderson Extended Dialogue mod, JAM, this and a few mesh-mods.

Sounds like you'll be just fine then and get the ending you want. By not putting in the SFX.afc file it's, I'm actually going to say, impossible to get the ME2 style song at the end, since that's the only file associated with that song. Enjoy!

EDIT: Since I practically jinxed it, make sure you have the CEM v1.2b (fixed) Full Manual Install version instead of just v1.2b. ;)

I did... and now I've tested it but it seems to be stuck at loading screen whenever I go to a mission now.

I'm gonna run through some DLCTOCbinUpdater and TOCBinUpdater

Dunno what I'm missing. Is the order of installation of Anderson Conversation Mod, JAM and CEM vital?

Those 3 mods shouldn't matter for install order I don't think. JAM is self contained. Even if Anderson Conversation isn't, CEM doesn't touch those files at all and neither does the JAM to CEM Full transition. Let me know how it goes.
