He journey comes to a close and ive been playing as cole a lot in battle. The Warrior class really needed better animations and ability to draw sword without shield and use two handed grip for a faster sword fighting type. I liked the knght enchanters blade animations better than any sword moves especially spinning moves. I could of used a downward thrust while enemies where on the ground so I didn't miss them like it doess. Also a parry using a one handed sword in or even with shield.

ANyway Daggers are fun after you unlock all the moves. So many attacks. That's the guy I want to play as. The "Textbook Noble Generic swordsman: r one handed sword and shield gets lame afeter the halfway pioint and I even may go as a mage.

To the Keep to customize my world state and then character creation. Going for a version of Iorveth from Witcher 2

The second playthru is alwys the best as you no longer feel you have to hit the seach button every second or zig zag thru maps hoping to find the good loot cuz you know where loot is if you want to roll dice and see what you get but im using weapons bought from the shop in emprise du lion keep merchant at level 20.

Cool, glad your enjoying the game. I have yet to play as a rogue, I've been rolling Mage the last couple of playthroughs. My first inquisitor was a sword and shield guy deep in the andrastian faith. My second playthrough was an elf Mage. This third is human Mage who is a non practicing andrastian. Lol!

I may bethe biggest geek for this but I actually write 3 short stories or one longer story and a couple episodic tales of the Adentures when I real ROLE PLAY. My first Plathru I made things all convoluted and don't have any clue who my character Is cuz at first it aall seems so big but second time around I know its a better idea to eave the hinterlands before your reach level 6 or after you've captured every camp and any missions pertaining to a specific theme or sequence. Last time I completed the hinterlands save for one rift that wont open its still the swirling green mist/energy although I draw weapons and the contextual HUD comes up. Weird. Its the rift in Dwarven Dales (you get Dales wool cotton cloth pickups here and its the south east most rift next to where you close a rift for some cult that worships the makers coming.

Second time thru im not gonna be a completionist and since lot is random (WHICH I LIKE because then what if you got some sweet weapon for collecting all the shards and looting a specific chest? then youd have to get all the shards again to have that favorite weapon.

Instead harder fights should really increase the chances of new armors weapons an schematics dropping and I mean increased by 25% from what it is now (seems ike 10 percent of the time I get something new) Also if it tracked the amount of times you picked up a certain schematic or weapon plus making pickups level with your characters so at level 10 you will neve pick up any weapon below 9 and rarely picup any weapon that requires more than rank 11 or 12 (I don't mind finding a bunch of igh level stuff early it gives me something to look forward to instead of more generic cotton, valuables (makes sene theyd be in chests though.)

PLus it would be nice if human soldier type enmeies dropped their equips, sometimes eeven a schematic or rare unique equip. Id like a venatori helmet.  It looks like a Halo Helmet. O does the Inquisitors helm and free marchers helm (fav for looks)

This time around im gonna use not just the best weapons but the best looking as long as they are close to my best weapon. I used a lonsword with specifc grip doin 9 damage for a long time while everyone else was doing 125 -159 169,

PLus more of those Mirrors ad othe things that gran a random attribute. Right now I e got a cunning warrior with 78 strength and 25 will power 11 dex and 11 magic  30 something constistuion. I think every skill tree should have a dominant attrute but always one or two attribute that are dominant to another class but so I cant get my critical his up with my warrior without taking an hour to find all the right armor to make a warrior with lets say 20 dex, or when you level up you gain a point In three dominant attributes and then a point in one other attribute every other rank or something.

It would also of been cool if there where attrbutes that determined how I chose my words, how persuasive or noble I could sound

Yup, the DW assasin is probably the most fun character to play.

If you are going to play nightmare, don't buy weapons, buy good schematics and craft them. You get your first good schematics in the shop next to the garden in Val Royeaux. Later on you get great schematics from armor in that hidden shop with the dog in the Hissing Wastes, and great schematics for weapons in the shop that appears when you conquer the keep in Emprise de Lion.
