there will be atleast A lowtown market area with the Hanged Man ad Hawkes uncles old place, a high town market you can visit along with the darktown being a new dungeon while other areas are under contruction. These don't even ave to be linked unbroken. JUst A low town and high town and darktown Center market squar like Val Royeau but  Kirkwall style.

 

Can the Undying" guy in the Emporium evn be moved without falling a part? oR maybe its a new improved black emporium ran by an old magister from the fisrt blight era.....

Not likely.  It wouldn't make sense for DAI.  If you are nostalgic for Kirkwall, I recommend playing DA2 again...

It'd be hard to accept going from Orlais then to Kirkwall at any time you wanted to, and with no problems

I wouldn't mind seeing what they would have done with Kirkwall with this engine, and I wouldn't mind Varric taking me there.

 

While I agree, I think that Val Royeaux should get special treatment first, for having such a disappointingly small map, and of course our proximity to the place.

I guess Black Emporium can be moved somewhere else. Coming back to Kirkwall wouldn't make sense. Perhaps only in some story dlc, but that's all. Adding some areas for Kirkwall would be too much, as Emporium is only meant to add some missing features (like face recustomisation during the game and selling some weapons, armor), not story content.

I hope the entrance to BE is that creepy library place in Skyhold, otherwise that place so far has very little use, unless its a set up for future DLC

Considering the nature of the Emporium's wares, I actually expect the shop to... wander.

Or, be accessed in a bizarre, convoluted way. After all, it is invitation only, and Xenon remarks on the people that 'search the sewers for the Emporium, and I say NO you are NOT WORTHY'.

 

In any case, not necessitating Kirkwall (or it's single warhouse, That One Cave, etc) even slightly.

Actually, it's not a bad idea, if you expand on it a bit. For instance, assume that there is only one Black Emporium. It's in the bowels of Kirkwall, in the Free Marches. How does one get there from Ferelden or Orlais? Well, probably the same way you'd get anywhere else in DA - by fast traveling!

 

But that's cheap and silly.

 

How about instead, there's a different way to get there? A portal, or a rift? To get to it, you'd do it the same way you summon your horse, or tell your followers to hold. Just select "Black Emporium", and suddenly a rift appears. Demons are optional.

 

Go through, and come out the other side in new Frostbite Kirkwall. Well, just the BE. I assume the door out into the brown would probably be covered by red lyrium of something. To go back to where you were before, you have to tickle a nug or something. Voila.
