You can call it a wormhole if you want, but the way the Normandy ends up so conveniently placed on the planet it should be in pieces. Not sure why you bring up the ark theory thing since I don't care about it

me3_normandy1.jpg?9d7bd4If there was an atmospheric re-entry I would agree with you. But I was saying there didn't need to be one, it certainly wasn't my first impression. This is the last image we get before the planet scene. It looks suspiciously like a wormhole amidst the energy wave and I was speculating it could place the Normandy as gently as the writers wanted down on a planet on the other side of the galaxy. Or in a completely different galaxy altogether.

Well OP all I can say is that it's your loss. I'm still playing both the Trilogy Single Player and the ME3 MP after all this time and I still love and enjoy it. The Ending is just a part of the whole series.

So get over it.

The Final Battle was anticlimactic and completely devoid of any cathartic experience.

That's my critique of the seires, please feel free to google anticlimatic and cathartic so you understand it...

^Dude...no need to be a d*ck about it.

I hate the ending too. But I won't act like people don't know what I am talking about.

Usually, if I ever define something, I use it as a basis for an argument I am posting. Whether they know the definition or not is irrelevant. I just want to set the ethos or basis of the argument before making the argument, Like the three T's of presentation or communication: Tell them what you're going to tell them. Tell them, and Tell them what you told them.

Cheers!!

Guys, guys,

After three years, I still love ME3, yay! Possibly better than ME2, but that's a story for some other day.

My god. It's almost inspirirational that after three years, this game can still inspire tl;dr ******-fests. I can't wait to see what people write for the 5- and 10-year anniversaries. I better see something truly special!

Oh, I mean :P

I find it ironic that the original bit was from a movie about pretty much the worst bit of humanity and yet it is so perfectly conveys the emotions many of us felt after our first time finishing the game.(i dont speak german so I have nearly zero idea of what is originally said)

The last part about Tali broke me further

i think the video appeared like a day after the release weekend. It was especially valid for me since I did romance Tali in that playthrough. Heh, does seem a bit excessive now, but I guess its a testament of how much we all loved it. how much we invested our emotions in it. Personally the first games always helped me through the dark times, the first one was such a strong positive influence that I got myself together and finished college, not well but at least I did.

I hope BioWare sees the things like the movie "Hitler finds out about Mass Effect 3's ending."  Not to mention a ton of other you-tube rants.

I hope they take it to heart - because they lost a lot of fans that day.   It's like BioWare lost track of what made their games great.

Well, here is to hoping they learned something.  I'm no longer a fan, though - and I'm not pre-ordering anything from them ever again.  I might get the game, but it will be after the professional game reviewers are done telling lies, and it will be after the hype.  I will get real info from real players, and that might include a lot of spoilers, sadly.  I'd rather endure spoilers than walk into another rancid dogfart of a rushed game and a terrible ending.

Yup.  I didn't get DAI until I spoilered myself on the ending.

It's very sad that I now see that as a necessary step before purchasing a Bioware game.

An overreaction to something minor that combines drunken foolishness with childish petulance.

Are you sure you want to associate that with the ending's hardcore detractors?

I saw it and I laughed.  I suppose there is some validity in the point.  Perhaps that is how BioWare sees our rants - most likely it is, because they stuck to their guns.

However, my point stands - I'm not buying any more of their games until they can make them fun to play again.

Well some people will always think that our reaction is just that no matter what evidence we bring to the contrary so I consider that just a minor bit of fun.

It's kind of unfortunate that it's become such a big joke meme. It's a really good movie.

Meh, I'm going to buy the game regardless if it's a success with critics or not, I've enjoyed the trilogy and a mediocre ending can't ever ruin that. I'm not going to check it before actually playing the game, that's just... Lol.
