Whomever I decide to save, either the dreadnaught or the Chargers, there's an option to use the underworld knowledge perk assuming you pick it. I always use the perk but I'm not sure what it affects if anything.

It gives app but idk if it gives WT jobs

Yeah it gives approval with The Iron Bull, but not sure if you get war table operation out of it. You should though.
