1. When you talk to Adan, he tells you he himself makes the potions. In top of that, your character says to him, how to have potions made.

2. The equip potion screen very specifically states that all you have to do to equip a potion is click the an empty slot on the bar

3. The upgrade potion table only has 3 useless pieces of information which are:
Potions, tonics, and grenades and what they do. All of which are just for information purposes and nothing else.
For something that is supposed to be used for upgrading, the options for doing so seem to be well hidden. Leave it to BIOWARE to never explain how to use something.

When the table is clicked on, it's supposed to go over exactly how to use the table to upgrade potions. If something is supposed to be clicked on, their needs to tell you in detailed tooltips, the entire process on how to do so and actually make you do one so you know how to do it. Right now this isad complete BS because there is no options to even do anything with at this point.

I feel your pain, bro.

I still haven't played the game, or any game in fact..

I'm still trying to work out how to turn the console on.

I agree with you op, Bioware does not make things clear on what to do so the only way for us to play is to click and find out for our self's.

To raise the intellectual bar a little

(which isn't hard  :P )

I found this interesting Gamespot vid on 'dumbing down'.

Yet, I've seen complaints from folk stuck in Redcliffe Castle

because they didn't think to 'hold' the gate control rather than 'press' it...

Interesting video. However it's talking about difficulty in combat or puzzle challenges, not simple interface explanations.

As silly as the OP is I kind of agree the potions thing is not very intuitive. It took me some time experimenting to figure out you need to actually click on the potions in the 'potion belt' part of the UI to actually make the potions.

That's 2 minutes I'll never get back again, damn you EA!! :)

What a bunch of trolls you all are. You pull this crap in people's topics and then wonder why I ignore what your replies.

And to clear 2 things up:

The other thread was a rant, not asking for help which is why it was posted in the feedback and suggestions.
And to fchopin, what's with you and the click on things BS comments.

If I'm supposed to click on something, then an instruction is supposed to be given, saying to do so. Why do clowns like you not grasp that simple little concept. Doing something on your own is a choice and not playing the game. I don't go around just randomly doing things during tutorials, and during first encounters if because that's plain stupid.
Unlike the rest of you clowns, I follow directions, and if no direction is given, then that means you do not do anything.

Every single person who plays games like this and doesn't follow directions and does whatever they want, would flunk every test they would ever take.

I know OP. I agree fully. When has thinking for yourself ever gotten anyone anywhere?

<_<

ROFLMAO I'm sorry I just--this is too much! So what, we're just supposed to stand around like idiots waiting for the game to tell us what to do? No tutorial told me to go to the Hinterlands and slay a dragon, but I did it anyway. Am I still playing the game?

If you think I am a clown because I click on things to find out what happens then so be it.

Well, OP, if no directions means you don't do anything then, here are the directions for making your next post:

I'd go with a big sign that says "Don't". And then hit him with it. :D

I can't wait until the mods do something about this troll. Laughing this hard at these posts is getting to be bad for my health.

If the hints and tips in this video that are part of the game don't hold your hand enough, then this game isn't for you?

I think this image of two ducklings sums up this and the previous locked thread;

tumblr_inline_n85czkFxCm1riqfqx.gif

Left Duckling: HOW DO I DRINK THE WATER?!

Right Duckling: *Confused*  Dude, it's not rocket-science...?
