I think that a bug coming from the exploits is bulls*t I didn't have any problems until patch3 and I was using the dupe exploit before that
Please someone explain to me how an exploit causes a bug? I had no problems until they started patching exploits, now I can't play the game cause of bugs that were introduced from those patches

I did not say that the exploit caused a bug. I said the reason the exploit may exist is because of a bug in the game which may be causing other problems that gamer's want fixed. If you fix the bug causing the other problems that also ends up removing the exploit.

The exploit is when there are more than one item in a chest and you leave at least one in it when you search it, it respawns. That doesn't sound like a bug, it sounds like skyrim.

Why do games need level caps anyway? If there wasn't a level cap, this entire conversation would be meaningless.

In older engines, I'd say no, the exploit was simply an oversight that affected nothing else but, with this thing, I don't know. NDA for Beta prevents me explaining but, We've seen this engine do things that are, by everything I know about computers and programming (and yeah I have a degree or three) are impossible. So yes it may take fixing an exploit to fix another, more serious bug, or to insure something they add that means more than the exploit to players works properly.

I'm sorry but I think it's just great that they patch the exploits. There's so many ways to be a God in DAI without resorting to an exploit...

In a single player game you can choose not to use the exploits. It's all about choice, and now that choice has been taken away. I don't like my choices taken away. Also, once I get some difinitive proof that a larger glitch was fixed by removing the exploits, I'll shut the hell up, otherwise they've just taken a lot of the fun away.

bioware Edmonton weekily meeting -

bioware Team supervisor: So people, we need to fix something or the fans are going to comeover and burn the office down. We got three bugs that the fans have been asking the most about fixing: 1) Stability and optimisation issues 2) the Banter bug 3) Broken quests. Now, take your pick people........

bioware employee 1: Those are too fricken hard and tedious to fix

bioware employee 2: Yah, can we have something simpler?

Everyone else on the team: Yeah.

bioware Team superviosr: Ok then, how about the chest farming glitch?

Everyone on the team: All applauding furiously

2 weeks later.....

bioware employee 1: Oh s*** we made all power amulets disappeared.....

bioware employee 2: Man, it will take us too long to fix that now

bioware Team supervisor: Well, we are making the Black Emporium DLC right? Just put the missing power amulets in there as cash shop microtransaction.

ea overlord: Pops into the meeting - Did someone say cash shop microtransaction?

Everyone at bioware Edmonton all living happily ever after............ or did they? As a mob with torches and pitchforks appears on the horizon.

THE END

I think the people of bioware are well aware that the game contains bugs and glitches. They have been working very hard to fix them. They are also busy with a dlc because people keep crying they want one.

So instead of making posts like FIX THIS, DO THAT, I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS etc. Try to give some positive feedback instead of this crap.

Because of what i can read of your posts monster, nothing will please u.
Why u even managed to fill the 100+ hours, with all that complaining, is beyond me.

I've given positive feedback to them for the past decade, and they once again disappoint me. I'm don't playing nice.

I was playing the game happily until this new "patch" came out and fucked my whole game up. Also, if you don't like complaining, you don't have to read. It's that simple.

I couldn't give two chicken shits about DLC, because the game is now broken. Adding anything further will just destroy what little bit of good is left in this game that I've enjoyed thoroughly these past few months.

And you're absolutely right, you can tell all about a person by a few internet posts. You should think about a career in psychology. So go take your brown nose and plant it thoroughly up biowares collective ass cheeks.

Did you see my sign? The old-gen players are still waiting some patches for their games. And some of us are anchored at the "press start button" since November! I haven't seen the effect of the Patches so long. Only thing working (almost) fine is the radar, but I suspect a so fine working gimmicks to be in the game pre-release and was locked behind a bug.

At each Patch, a new handful of bugs, glitches and game-breaking mechanics. But it fix exploits I never heard about and must be grateful they destroy my saves and prevents me to talk to the companions at the same time...

I have enough to be forced to save every minute to reload once I stumble on the highrate spawning mortal bug!

I think the people at bioware need to rethink their lives. My game was working just fine, more or less, until this most recent "patch" which screwed up everything. I ended up deleting every save because I have no intention of touching this broken game any time soon.

(to Monster20862) Okay, that is unintentionally hilarious: "Well, my game got broken by the patch so the people at Bioware should rethink their marriage, family, friends, careers and everything else."
