Would it be possible for DA:I to have an update or dlc that would include more enemies that are hard to kill? Yeah we have dragons in every areas but IMO it's just not enough when you have defeated them all. With this in mind, they could add more mage, templar, venatori, red templars and bandits (Boss/Elite) that roam a specific area. Also, the reason I wanted these particular enemies "Named" is because they could give more impact to the player. Seeing a named enemy is more intimidating than seeing "Red Templar Elite" in their name.

Seeing the enemies now in DA:I it's just not enough, you have nothing to go back to in a specific area after you finished the side quests. They could also use this as an alternative so that the players can acquire schematics and fade touched items. And the fact that the areas are big enough to include these enemies means that it could actually be possible.

They could add an option in the wartable to hunt a Boss/Elite enemy. Then you need to use power to do it (because there is a LOT of power that's left over after unlocking things in the wartable).

But if you randomly come across someone, how would you know what their name is?

You wouldn't.

I get what you mean though. A random enemy appears and all of a sudden you already know his/her name.

Maybe they could add an option in the wartable to hunt a Boss/Elite enemy (that would solve the name problem). Then you need to use power to do it (because there is a LOT of power that's left over after the unlocking things in the wartable).

Boss1, Boss2, Boss3 etc….. he just wants something hard to kill after all the baddies are gone.

Oh, I see that, and having some more challenging fights out there wouldn't be bad, but given that he was keen to have these foes named, I was just wondering how the Inquisitor would know what their names are....

Thing is though, there already are mini bosses in each area. Various leaders of the freemen in the exalted plains and emerald graves, Imshael in the emprise, the avvar leader in the bog, some dwarf in valammar, leader of the white claw raiders in the western approach, venatori mini leader guy in the hissing wastes, pride demon in the forbidden oasis (though it takes a bit to get to it), that guy in crestwood (when you're taking the keep) and the merc leader in the hinterlands.

The game just does a poor job making them stand out and imo they're pretty easy. Unless you read codexs, you wont realize that they are mini bosses. Its a damn shame. The side stuff that has more to it goes unnoticed because of the lack of cinematics.

Yeah, those enemies are a bit easy even on nightmare (at least for me anyway). Even Imshael doesn't stand out much in terms of strength comparing to the other demons, and considering he is supposed to be a really powerful demon in the lore of DA, it makes me feel like the developers just made him transform into different demons and that's it.

I just wish the developers are thinking of a way to make the Power System to be more efficient (ex. Having an option to hunt down mini bosses in different areas).

That was basically just Gaxkhang's MO: switch back and forth between two undead forms.

Go play Diablo 3 if you want to farm enemies in areas you have already cleared and thus have no business hanging around in. You even get named enemies

Excuse me but why would you want someone to play a different game when they request more gameplay in Dragon Age Inquisition? Your logic is flawed.

I was real disappointed with imshael. I wish he had talked more.

I think i read a tweet or something saying that they were looking into it. Or that could just be my imagination. But if they are planning on doing something, we will probably see it in the next story dlc.

But yeah i agree, i have waaay too much power. I think another way to fix it would be to buy schematics using power. Or maybe luring dragons to fight after you've killed all 10.

I'm not really a fan of Diablo games so i guess I'm gonna pass. As for farming enemies, that's not really what I was going for. What I wanted was a more stronger version of the enemies we've faced in the game. Not in the sense that I just want to kill something, but to make the game more playable after you've finished the game.

Or maybe luring dragons to fight after you've killed all 10.

Now that's what I call a brilliant idea!

No need to add new enemies too, just respawn the dragons using the wartable and VIOLA!!!

In Dragon Age, you have a big important quest, and you complete that quest. The developers have been nice enough to let you run around and finish sidequests after you have saved the world, but there is no significant post-game content (compared to say Elder Scrolls where the main quest is more or less optional).

Hell, this is the first time that we've had respawning enemies at all, which makes me wonder if a different game might be more fun for OP. Other games have what OP asked for, Dragon Age does not. On the balance of probability, I think it might be smarter to go for the other game rather than ask that DAI be turned into a different game.

You have already dealt with all the quests and done everything in that area. You have no business sticking around, so if you do and keep killing the respawning enemies then I don't know what to call it other than grinding.

What I wanted was a more stronger version of the enemies we've faced in the game.

That's what the zones do - the Emerald Graves have tougher humanoid enemies (Freeman shield, archer and brute compared to Templar shield, archer and brute) than the Hinterlands, and a tougher dragon fight than the Hinterlands.

I'm actually just suggesting/asking if it would be "possible" for the devs to a content similar to the one I have posted. I don't want it to change into another game and I doubt it would make a huge change to the gameplay, if it would be included. Heck, if they added it i'd consider it as an improvement.

So does that look grinding to you? All I'm asking for is for the game to have more challenge (well, more post game content really but yeah, "challenge"). Let's face it, the bosses in this game are a bit dissapointing and the only thing that I can actually consider as a threat are the dragons.

I want a boss enemy named Andrew Wilson.
