... so I thought I'd done this for my first playthrough buuuut didn't really understand the Keep then. Anyway, my question is, if Alistair had romanced the Warden but she ended up doing the ultimate sacrifice, does he comment on her at all?

 

I'd considered using my canon Origins (with this setup) for my next playthrough, but I found out you can also get a Morrigan/Alistair scene if he's Kieran's dad -- so I'm torn. If Alistair won't comment on the warden romance if she's dead, I might just fudge it in the keep to see the Morri/Alistair thing.
 

Any insight would be appreciated

He should if hes still a Warden idk if he was made King ....i know he says somthing in DA2

Nah in my canon they put Anora on the throne, so he's still a warden. I just wondered if anyone had used that setup and gotten dialogue about it. I googled and he supposedly does talk about her if she's alive and romanced him.

Alistair doesn't comment about a dead romanced!Warden at all (he's the only DAO returning LI not to).  Sorry.

 

And the Morrigan/Alistair scene about Kieran is bugged for romanced!Alistair (it may have been fixed in patch 5, though).  I've never had it trigger at all.

It is worth importing a romanced!Alistair with a living Warden just hear how he talks about her.

Yeah, I was really disappointed that Alistair didn't mention my dead HoF In contrast, a romanced Leliana would tell you how devastated she was when the HoF died. Even Morrigan says she's sorry that she and the HoF parted on bad terms. Alistair you heartless, horrible man!

 

But it was nice to see him again. So much so that I couldn't help but save his cute little arse again  (Sorry, don't know how to use the hide spoiler function in post so this is as far as I can go
