I SWEAR I've digitally been in Skyhold before.
It's that long hallway with the broken down wall leading to the war room, and the Undercroft, and particularly the Dungeon/jail.
Has anyone else experienced deja vu in Skyhold? Or have I finally gone round the bend?

Well, that hallway is pretty generic. As are the other tower rooms that never, ever change.
Seriously, I would pay money for a Rebuild Skyhold DLC. There are some things I want to change/fix, mmkay? 
Seriously though, there is a possibility that Skyhold was based off of other castles/forts from other games. It's not surprising that you had that nostalgia sense. I myself had it with some other parts of the game.
I expected more deja-vu in Haven, since it appeared in Origins as well, as the home of the weirdo cult people.
Skyhold felt somewhat familiar, but I think it's just because 99% of games I play include castles - going right back to (*dates self*) Ultima Online.
It was the first time I went to the war room. It was that long hallway, in particular the fallen stones from the windows. I had very serious Deja Vu.
Then when I went down into the Jail - I think I had something to do, in another gaming life, with the explosion that blasted out part of that jail.
I sit here laughing, but I am not kidding at all. That place is just too familiar.
Are we able to upgrade the Undercroft? It has that object in the room.

I gotta say im not that old and i did have a few deja vu moments in skyhold as well. Specifically the hallway before the war room. It's probably because of another game i've played but yes i felt it too.
Parts of Skyhold kinda remind me of Battlehorn Castle from Oblivion, one of those player home DLC's they released?
