The turret specced for flamethrower will reliably prime multiple targets for fire explosions, which can be spectacular when you go full chain overload. Not putting 6 levels into turret is missing out on the GE's main unique power synergy.

I've tried speccing the turret for max shield restore and for max damage. I see very little difference in practice between the amount of shield restoration. What mostly counts is the initial boost that one gets straight after tossing it out.

Doesn't the turret flamer only prime unprotected enemies? Or are geth turrets different from the FQE? I've never been able to make the FQE flamer prime consistently. (But that's been a long time ago.)

Geth Turret and Sentry Turret are slightly different. Sentry Turret you should simply spec for damage and rockets. That will kill a Gold Brute on its own given half a minute or so. Geth Turret doesn't have the rocket option, so Flamer is the way to go. I can't say for sure what it primes on, I tend to toss it into a spawn and shoot then Overload. I'm cast into a state of doubt by your question, but I'm almost certain I've detonated FEs on armored enemies though.

I thought it primed on armour, but I tend to use that setup with incendiary ammo, for even more fire explosions, so damn if I know.

Yes, I think it does. Maybe I've just placed it horribly.

The Geth turret primes on armor and health iirc. But the priming window is very short (the turret must be actively flaming to be detonated), so the timing is critical.

Turret needs to be actively flaming in my experience to prime.

This is what I use personally. If you overload as soon as the second round leaves the chamber on the Wraith you get a complete reload hide, it wrecks the hell out of everything.

I roll no fitness.

He's one of the kits I always use for lore, so it's either GPR with AP rounds, or GPS with Incendiary rounds, the build stays the same for both. I like offensive turret and offensive hunter mode. The shield restore is good enough at base so when you throw it at your feet you get enough shields back, and the extra damage against armor is nice. Plus it's a good way to stop phantoms if you don't have a stagger weapon. He is an absolute minion melter with overload stagger and headshots for days.

Yes, I didn't mention that because I thought that it was known. So the idea is to toss the turret into a spawn, shoot, and the moment the flames lick out, hit the Overload button. It's not hard to do and the results are worthwhile.

Yes, that's similar to my approach, but Incendiary on everything :)

I've burned a few reset power cards on this kit, but ultimately I've settled on this no fitness build; http://kalence.drupa...22X51343!GF9A.9

Only thing that might change is the final evolution of Overload. PS. Don't overloead an unshielded enemy your aiming for a headshot unless you want him to fall down due to neural shock. That or overload any enemy next to him and he'll just stagger without falling down & a clear headshot.

For weapon & ammo powers, anything works, and I always try all kinds of weapons on him. But will add playing him with a stability modded Saber is quite fun.

Used to go for extra dmg on Hunter Mode for final evo, but I've since changed that for all the Geth kits. "Speed! Gimmi what I need!" ... Plus extra range Hunter mode is so much better.

Turret is always set for full heal. Healing pugs is fun, but it healing me is even more fun. Plus it still draws agro, anyway. And it's capable of forcing the bubble on Phantoms/Banshee's/Pretorian for extra penetration dmg.  ... If I want a dmg turret, I'll choose another kit like the QFE, Saboteur, etc. As this is what makes this pet unique.

I only put 3 ranks in the turret for occasional shield boost and as an enemy compass, and 5 in fitness for shield recharge.

I go 4/4 between turret and fitness.

I also switch between the Raider, Falcon, Saber, and Piranha. I use AP with all but the Falcon (incendiary). I find the Piranha to be very satisfying with the RoF & accuracy bonuses.

I know this may seem strange, but you may want to try him with Adrenaline instead of Cyclonics. The speed may help you stay alive better.

I skip HM, give him a Geth Scanner and a Javelin and enjoy all the wall-hackin' with none of the shield penalty.

Hunter mode-less

No need for cyclonics and shield power cells with full healing turret give almost insta-shields :)

This.

Ask yourself what's more consistent and reliable, low individual shield recharge or relaying on a turret to be more than an occasional support.

I don't get skipping turret or max turret for fitness. One provides some variety to your game and the other robs you of it. It's really that simple of choice to me. Otherwise I'll be sooner taking another break from ME3mp then later.

I know the wraith is good gun, but for every character? Besides, I can sit back and snipe with my Lancer build. HSHSHS

Lots of people posting Wraith/Talon/Hurricane builds, and I think those are the 3 best weapons on the GE.  They pack a good punch and become even more awesome with Hunter Mode's accuracy boost, and they are light so you can spam Overload too.

This is an alternative build I really like.  Hunter Mode combined with ADS gives you just enough accuracy to hit double-headshots reliably with the Valkyrie.  And it gives you a good way to get rid of all those Headshot VI's you have lying around.  You could change the build to get rid of the Turret or spec it differently, but I like the Fire Explosions from the Flamer Turret.  It helps supplement armor damage, which suffers if you use the Headshot VI.  This build is decent against all factions, but it absolutely murders Geth.

Build. I've used this build almost since the GE became available. Never seen a reason to change it up. If you want to add a slice of extra cheese just swap the GPR for an Adas. It's ridiculous.

I don't personally use it on every character but for the GE it's perfect for me. The two shots then overload synch up nicely with the CD of overload and like I said earlier it's not a reload cancel it's a reload hide which is basically reload canceling on steroids. I wanted a high burst damage weapon with great proccing, Claymore is great as well BUT the cooldown of overload just lines up perfectly for me with the Wraith. Accuracy of hunter mode also goes with a shotgun as well. I also have run the Talon on him with great success and the Arc Pistol. He's a pretty versatile weapons platform, tanky and fast with CC ability.

I guess I would be guilty of using the Talon or Arc Pistol more so than the Wraith on most characters.

Pssttt.. (Whispers) I meant someone else uses it on nearly every character... Ya feel me? Love Arc & Talon!
