Pssttt.. (Whispers) I meant someone else uses it on nearly every character... Ya feel me? Love Arc & Talon!
PS: Are you a nuclear technician born in 1976?
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (sounds way fancier than it is) and regrettably you're right on the last part.

Woohoo! I'm not the oldest person here.

My GE build
But seriously, If you have to play as a blender I suppose that the GE is the least annoying one, and in that case skip fitness and go full weapon damage and heal turret, using a Saber or Claymoar.
Here's my actual preferred build: http://kalence.drupa...!!13T53364!F8AG

... go full weapon damage and heal turret, ...
Speccing healing for the turret is the same logic as speccing max fitness. BSN generally prefers damage output over shields, but strangely not when it comes to pets.
That said, 3 or 4 points in fitness can be actually worthwhile because, Geth melee.

Logic.
Anyway, I run 46664 build. Turret's not worth 6 ranks IMO and I like to have atleast some investment in fitness, especially on geth characters.
The very first rank in geth fitness decreases the shield recharge delay, while other characters only get that option at rank 5.
Valkyrie because it's cool. Hunter mode's RoF and accuracy boost helps it out quite well, and barrage upgrade helps with any stability issues.

The turret is very useful with just 3 points in it. It's super low CD already/can be redeployed for shields as needed, creates an aggro sponge if you know how to use it properly. I'd just rather have those points in fitness and throw a cyclonic or adren mod on him.

I agree with you. The turret's damage is so useless (the main gun and flame direct damage) or unreliable (flamer combos) that it actually is worse than the shield restore. It's sort of like pull on the drell, or sabotage on the quarksman against non-geth. Since instant restore of less shields is better than annoyingly long restore of more, and since any bonuses from fitness are going to be halved in effectiveness by Hunter Mode anyway, turret healing is probably preferable to fitness extra shields. You get free wallhax as geth anyway, so you probably won't be taking many hits. AFAIK cyclonics are proportionally better than fitness for increasing max shields on them because the HM penalty only applies to base shields.
Of course, I don't play geth, but I assure you that I totally don't have ulterior motives in my build advice for other players using them in my games.

Well, to be fair, a 30% damage increase on the Geth Turret is just upgrading your water pistol to a super-soaker.

well... no. Hunter mode decreases max shield by a flat 375, not 50%.

I couldn't believe you'd actually linked to a GE build..... and I was right!
As shameless attempts to derail threads go, that was pretty good. I gave your build a go, remembering how impressed I was when you played it that way in some of our games. Pretty devastating, I have to say. I was outscored by a GT / Flamer / Acolyte in a couple of games, but not by much, and I really wasn't trying hard. I find I usually play with a certain laidback swagger with the Claymore on my KroSent, and Little Miss Jiggly offers different possibilities.
OT The GE is one of my favourite kits, speccing Overload for full chain on top of the Incendiary Ammo I will have been spraying very reasonably accurately with either my GPSMG or GPR. If I'm not going down the lore-friendly route I would say the Saber is a great choice. The turret is normally split in some way with fitness, usually 4/4, or occasionally a no Fitness build with a Cyclonic.

Geth fitness is the second best fitness tree in the game.

Mine kills stuff for me all the time - most memorable recent one was an 1850 kill on a Banshee. It also restores shields (just a bit less) quite happily, but plenty to help when you are near shield gate. The aggro it puts out also keeps stuff like Marauders and Centurions occupied while I shoot them.

My Geth Engineer build is easy, since Hunter Mode causes my eyes to melt through the back of my head.

Lol! Tried the flamer turret once again with a geth pea shooter. Yes, it primes quite reliably. It is vastly superior to the Quarian version (mostly because of chain overload).

I like the Turret... ![]()
I don't think I've ever gone into platinum with the GE, but on gold I find it kills stuff quite often, it's particularly useful to pop bodies hiding behind cover.
I keep reading threads like this and wonder if I should spec into the healing turret, or drop it to 3, but why bother when a cyclonic works so well on Geth?

I don't think it's him.
I initially thought it was Deckard too but not anymore. I have a vague idea as to who it is. ![]()

Account was created back in November, which was before the Quarian-Replicant war (which we won, clearly).

The healing turret is way better than a few more measley points of fitness imo. Also...speed all day errr day.
