Merrill is just the worst for me. I find her so annoying, selfish, and idiotic. I'd rather have the adoring fan from Oblivion follow me around.

 

Oh boy, that brings back memories. I made him stay in the middle of the river (with the huge slaughterfish) once and when I came back to check on him, his marker was there but I couldn't see him. So there his marker stayed...it was wonderful.

 Morrigan was a crappy lover. To her credit, she becomes decent near the end, but still...

 

 

And, despite what she may believe, she does need more meat on her bones!

DA: O - Morrigan. I've never really been interested in her in a romantic way. I'm not into the whole "I don't believe in love, until you show up" angle.

 

DA2 - Merrill. I just can't do it. Her kind of innocence puts me off.

 

DA: I - I'm not sure. Probably Sera, because I'm not too fond of her character (or her hair). Blackwall, because his romance doesn't really interest me. Solas seems fine, up until the ending. Everyone else, though? I'm game.

I think Morrigan's arc is better as a friendship, not a romance. It just seems more meaningful that she views the Warden as her friend, a concept so utterly foreign to her way of thinking.

 

For DA2, Merrill's dynamic with Hawke always seems to be more of a younger sister to me. I just can't romance her (much like Tali in Mass Effect).

 

Inquisition... Yeah, I don't know who's more of a 'NOPE!', Sera or Blackwall. Sera needs to do a LOT of growing up emotionally to be anywhere in the viscinity of ready for a romantic relationship, and Blackwall just hits a lot of my 'you make me very uncomfortable, please get away from me' buttons. Though much as I like him as a character, Iron Bull is also pretty close, because the bondage stuff is outside of my comfort zone.

I never had any "least" favorites until DAI. I don't much care for IB, but that's more an issue of "Blech, male qunari." (If male qunari looked like Da2 qunari... ) But in DAI, male qunari look like roided gigolos, and it's gross. But in terms of actual content, and noxious personality: Sera

Shane is/was like the Holy Grail of female-female love.  Looks wise, I mean.

DA:O: Leliana.  Her romance reminds me too much of Liara, and honestly, I didn't like Liara's romance much either.  I will admit, romancing DA:I Leliana would be.... interesting.

 

DA2: Anders.  As much as I liked Anders in Awakening (I actually wanted to romance him as a f!Warden), his romance always feels doomed in DA2, even from the start.  It doesn't help that after so many playthroughs of DA2, I've actually grown to hate DA2 Anders to the point that I want to punch him in the face as soon as he brings up mages and Templars.  Which says a lot, considering how it takes quite a bit for me to get to that point.  The fact that he treats Merrill like **** almost constantly really doesn't help matters.

 

DA:I: Right now, no one, though I have to say that Sera's romance doesn't seem all that appealing to me.  I've only romanced Solas, Cassandra, and IB so far and they're all pretty good romances, though, imo, Solas' is the best.  Funny thing is, sometimes I completely forget Blackwall is romanceable.

I remember ditching him in the middle of the forest...it didn't take long the Fan got killed by a pack of trolls. I suppose those trolls mistook him for female troll, and try to *ahem* with him. XD

Among those that I've actually played myself rather than watched on YouTube or something: being Leliana, Isabela and Sera.

 

My least favorite would have to be Leliana. I like her character at times in Origins, but other times, her personality can be quite cloying, especially in banter with Wynne, who basically complements her sweetness with bits of gush thrown in. Hardening her definitely makes things a bit better since she gets a bit more edge on her, but I made a grave mistake going through her stories.

 

Overall, it would have to be Iron Bull by a mile.

This is how bad I wanted her, since no one looks like her I tried to get her haircut and wear aviators.  Bad.  Idea.

DAO: Morrigan, I just liked her character the least.

 

DA2: Sebastian, I don't like him much, honestly I never even bothered with his romance. Otherwise Merril and Isabela, for Isabela I don't care for the non-committal thing (yes I realize that's how she is, and that's fine, doesn't mean I have to partcipate in the romance if I don't like it though) and for Merril, idk she just never clicked for me romance wise.

 

DAI: I've liked them all so far, I haven't done IB or Blackwall yet as they don't really appeal much to me, but I may get around to it.

I only play male. Except for FemShep, she was awesome enough to deserve multiple playthroughs.

 

 

DAO: I don't mind Leliana or Morrigan. I thought both had great personalities and back stories. I just picked Morrigan because she had the better story.

DA2: I'm not a fan of Merril. She seemed more of a sister than an LI. But I don't dislike her.

 

DAI: I didn't like ANY of the choices I've been given. I just can't bring myself to like Cassandra or Josephine. I hope the romance options are more feminine next time, but not too feminine and all damsel and distress, like Josephine. I don't like Cassandra's voice, her look, and her dialogue.

DAO: Zevran. I actually enjoy his arc but something about him makes me like his the least.

 

DA2: Merrill. I just can't romance her. She is too naive and I am not into dalish elves. She is better off to be a sister to Hawke.

 

DAI: I don't like how the Blackwall romance plays out, especially there is no actual relationship development after his personal quest. Though I like his concept and character, I don't think I will ever romance him again. But then, I have zero motivations to start a bull or sera romance.

I romance Zevran infrequently, but not because I don't like his character. I just found his romance uninteresting. 

 

I've never romanced Anders

 

I've only done three of the romances in DA:I (Josie, Cass, and Cullen), and I liked them. I might do Blackwall. I've no interest in romancing Dorian

DA2: Anders - knowing how much more awesome he was in Awakening just makes it worse

 

DAI: Thom err... Blackwall.

DA:O - Morrigan. I haven't romanced her and doubt I will since 99% of the time play female MCs but I still feel like I wouldn't care for her romance? Who knows, maybe if that 1% I play a guy and romance her I'll like it but as of now, meh. I'll stick to Leliana and Alistair

 

DA2 - Merril because I just didn't like her character. She was pretty annoying and I really disliked doing her quests because she was locked into the party. I'll end up dealing with her my next playthrough because screw Anders --- Besides, my Hawke probably couldn't take her seriously in a relationship either.

 

DA:I - Joins the choir and picks Iron Bull. He's a great dude friendship wise for my Inquisitor and maybe, just maybe a quick bang on the side, but a legit romance? No appeal, really. Cullen so far is the only person I can pin my IQ with, no one else seems interesting enough...
