98? Isn't that like 50 years after the current year...wouldn't Sera be dead by now?

Even if the age passes, it will still be the age that started it all. It will never lose relevance.

Dragon Age games needn't be consistent in the time-line. The next could be set in some other land outside of Fereldan and Orlais alongside the time Inquisition's events took place for all we know. Perhaps the next could even be set before Origins.
Inquisition is only 10 years after Origins so there's still another 60 years to go. Plenty of time to produce several more games if their idea is to keep going forward in time.

I kinda hope this was the last one, and after Mass Effect 3 the same, i understand others enjoyed them far more but if these franchises ended i'd be ok with it now, my hype is pretty low after DA I sadly.

The Dragon Age has been one of the most tumultuous times in Thedosian history, and there's still a lot more left to it.
Even if the age passes, it will still be the age that started it all. It will never lose relevance.
The dragon age cannot be compared to the Divine age when Zazikale 2nd most powerful archedemon spread Havoc for 90 years.

I didn't read the thread.
Idea:
Current Dragon Age is part of the more important Chantry Age (the last several hundred years).
We emerge out of the Dragon Age, 'prematurely', into the more important 'Dragon Age'. That is, the end of the Chantry dominance as we know it, and into a world of Dragons.
Dragon Age, the series title, therefore continues. Just less in the context of being an age of the Chantry, but instead an age of Thedas.
(??? --> Titans? --> Elves --> Tevinter --> Chantry --> Dragon??)
As the series progresses, we're understanding more and more of what makes a 'dragon', too. So it doesn't necessarily mean the scaly beasts all of the time, but with 'the magic returning', dragon themed things may continue to greater extents. We're seeing this, for example, with the more draconic lore added to the Qunari (what was previously barely theorized is now all but confirmed).
