mages cannot blood magic

I actually have an idea why that is so. Solas mentions that using blood magic makes it difficult to enter the Fade - as the bearer of the mark, the Inquisitor might have a harder time closing rifts if he dabbles in blood magic. As for the other mages, they have their own specialisations, so you can't really force them to learn Blood Magic unless they want to.

Finally, the massacre of the spell system leaving magic feeling unfulfilling, bland, and utterly lacking in previously held nuance.

  • Hairstyles (Kudos for attempting to make them unisex, but little variety and all ladies get sideburns)
  • QUNARI hairdstyles (oh wow it got worse)
  • Hair colour (wanna be blonde, ginger, black, NOT yellow, orange, blue)
  • Anticlimactic boss-battle/ending (also why the hell do you give the villian what he wants, if he comes back it will make the whole of DAI completely pointless and meaningless)
  • Rams keep running awaaaaaay
  • Despair keep dodging awaaaaaay
  • Mounts aren't even that fast, why bother
  • ...and DLC mounts still have "LOCKED" slots at the stables, so if I don't buy (another!) Logitech KB/M I will always have incomplete stables, why couldn't you only have the slots if they were installed...?!
  • Getting around takes ages, not enough little details in the environment to look at or interact with so the game space just feels needlessly inflated
  • Looting takes so looooooong oh wait I have a mod for that now, hahah
  • Fade-touched takes hours to farm and then drops the wrong type oh wait I have a mod for that now, hahaHAAA
  • Terrible pyjamas OH WAIT AHAH apparently they were gonna be tintable, but reintroducing tints they're still beige :c
  • They reduced amulet of power for all legit players to prevent SOME SOLO players from exploiting - exploit itself still there, wut
  • "Modular" areas/quests makes you feel kinda aimless, you have to 'earn' the chance to do other stuff
  • LEAVE ME ALONE REQUISITION OFFICER WHY CAN'T YOU ACCEPT A NOOOOOO
  • Slot limits meant rarely used skills (eg: focus, revives) felt clustery, mages had to either spec in one element (and suck against resistances) or just be really meh and all of them (esp if you want barrier/dispell on all mages, two slots right there)
  • We have armour dyes but no weapon dyes :c or dying for weapon mods :c Or vitaars why would I want bright yellow face-paint no this is not okay
  • Qunari armour? What is a qunari armour, you speak such nonsense you do, they don't exist
  • Why is Bianca so terrible, T4 mats on T3 schematics and does half of what a normal bow does.. Varric get gud (I now use CheatEngine to change her stats)
  • Music/banter uses randomisation that leads to long silences - and both are so rare they may as well not even be there
  • So much focus on Hinterlands make HL quests clusterf***y and tedious but areas like Hissing Wastes or Fallow Mire empty and boring by comparison (why else you need to tell people to leave HL? You put half the game in there)

Just my own opinion, if asked about the things I didn't like. Actually really enjoy the game overall, and it is easy to critique from a desk chair.

My problem with DAI is that there are only two female looking women in the entire game, morrigan & leliana. The rest off the females are incredibly ugly and make me sick to my stomach looking at them. I guess that makes me shallow, but I don't give a ****.

Maybe you should try dating a real woman, instead? You might get more out of it than having to rely on Bioware to create women for you.

1.Fetch quests

2.Not enough cinematic scenes

3.The main story is too short.

4.The complete riddance of DA2 companions(well obv im not counting Varric)

5.The looks of male elves(too narrow shouldered and ofc those broken arms).

6. Iron bull/Dorian banter(Bull's flirtatious remarks and how uncomfortable Dorian seemed with them creeped me out).

The only thing that bothers me are the loading times. Everything else is near perfection. F***ing love this game.

No offence, but that is a completely ridicuolous post. Yes i agree about the loading times, BUT you see no problem in this game? WOW,

Of course there are some other Problem but nothing really that was absolutely disgusting or terrible. For example the fetch-quests, there was plenty of it yes but I could completly ignore them and still have enough to unlock all areas and progress with the mainstory. Other than that I see no problem in this game.

Yes, and I liked Inquisition more than them.

First of all, cancel all work on improving the multiplayer. It's so awful I cannot find any non-offensive and decent words to describe that piece of sh-.
Never pursue multiplayer in Dragon Age again. NEVER.

...

well, I would enjoy multiplayer in Dragon Age universe, IF it was a RTS stand-alone add-on/game.

Hmm.. We have a huge difference in what a fetch quest is.. Or, what defines "plenty"...

I think what's wrong with DA:I can be summed up with one phrase: "if it's not broken, don't fix it" DA:O wasn't broken yet they tried to fix it as a result they wound up breaking it. The customization of how you can build your character is just so limited that a little after i unlock the specialization and put some points in it, my character is done.... there is nothing else to do, and this is boring. after i get to that point in the game i lose all interest.

He should be ashamed of himself.. Telling people the game is good, because he can imagine it is.. Costing them money.. Clearly, more people roll in here on a daily basis, and are extremely upset they spent money on this garbage... Claiming to use "facts" when all he does is say how he used imagination, and "role-played" stuff that simply doesnt exist.. Its wrong, and dishonest! Something a greasy, slime-ball, PR rep, or salesman would do! Shame on you!

Yoou could work at EAWare, with all your false claim, and advertising, of how well the game is.. Its not even "pretty" as you so state.. Everything looks like its been drooled on, and covered in wax! The m+kb is borked! The combat, is sluggish/unresponsive in action, and theres no possibility to play in a tactical mode, for multiple reasons.. The camera, no function, behaviour modifiers, customizations, etc.. Majority of, if not all, your claims, are nothing but hot air in an attempt to inflate sales.. I still say your an employee!

Him and like 2 or 3 others that regularly post passive aggressive challenges to people that were not satisfied with this game I highly suspect are EA affiliated in some way. I'm probably wrong but it's the best explanation for their crazy reasoning. All of them have super high post counts so maybe they are just mega trolls.

Am a fan of Bioware games; are the only EA games I believe that are on my Origin account. But I do not get paid in defense of their products; am quite content to volunteer my services as it seems to occupy the interest of so many. Spoon!

You over thinking it to much. Reason is simple. Bio ware couldn't make it work. Story re-activity, and they have problems with game play or balance.

Oh yeah, totally, that much is obvious, but you have to admit this technically gives them an excuse for not making blood magic a specialisation.

Everything is terrible compared with DA:O.

DA:I is unfortunately the worst BioWare game so far.

1. Male elf body model is broken and distorted.

2. Lack of ability to change your character's body-type.

3. Lack of ability to alter your character's appearance once you start the game (honestly Bioware; all of your games require a ritual of going through the first part of the game over and over again until you actually have a character that looks the way you want them to-why not just allow players to observe the character outisde of the editor for a bit before having to finalize {or just let players change their appearance in game at least once}).

4. No sheaths for weapons (if Skyrim had this 4 years ago, why can't DA have it now?).

5. No blood magic.

6. Poor selection of two-handed swords (most of the strongest two-handed weapons are axes and hammers).

7. Slightly underwhelming spells (Dragon's Dogma is still the only game that makes magic as cool as it can be).

The are a few unsatisfactory things I found about DAI, but only three are really terrible:

- The lack of decent hairstyles for females.

- The inability to wear (our meticulously crafted and tinted) armour in Skyhold.

- Unsatisfactory romance options. Really. I miss the agony of choosing between Alistair and Zevran in DAO, because here I can't find anyone appealing that I'm not barred from romancing. (...Solas...)

I didn't like the tedium of trudging for hours through the Hinterlands, but that's hardly terrible compared to the above, because at least you are given a choice with the errands/shards/whatever.

Character Creator:  While more flexible then the previous DA games, it still is as basic as you can get by comparing to other character creation like Dragon's Dogma which came out years ago.

Hairstyles: They are awful. Sexes should have their own hairstyles. Races should have no less then three hairstyles only for that race.

Pajamas: I really do not nor saw the point of having some ugly pajamas under your armor then be forced to run around Skyhold looking as though your throwing a pajama party. Also having these pajamas show through your armor is just stupid. For starters going back to having underwear underneath would be nice. Secondly remove the lock on not being able to wear your armor in Skyhold. Third, add in a clothing merchant at Skyhold- those who do not wish to wear armor can purchase clothing instead.

The Ending: No I am not talking about the clip after the credits. It was just awful. There was no build up at all. Cory and his dragon were far too easy to defeat, not to mention it was completely dull.

Fade -Touch Drop Rate: I can see the need for the drop rate to be the way it is now if this was an MMO, but it is not. Thus the drop rate is ridculious.

Skyhold: Boring. Find all the quarries and wood locations in the game. Yet even though you completed the game you still have holes in the walls and other structures that require attention. The so-called improvements you do make are pointless. Why the hell do I have to choose between an Infirmary and a Sparring Ring? They do not even share the same plot! Beyond that Skyhold is too rainbow and puppies. No one does anything wrong, everyone is practically holding hands and singing songs.

War Table Missions: Most are more interesting then what your character can participate in. Would have been nice if I could say, go help the Grey Wardens, or hell travel to Kirkwall and speak to Seabass or a fun one would have been to help clear the passage through the Frostback Mountains.

Mounts: Pointless. Waste of development time. Yes you build this big world for player's to explore, but gives us mounts as option not to explore. Er what?

Dumb Quests: Horse Racing, Lead the Druffalo back to its Owner, Herd The Halla and many others were dull, pointless and scream a lack of innovation in giving meaningful quests.

Main Story: Too short. Lost its luster after "In your Heart Shall Burn." Wick Eyes and Wicked Hearts was a complete snooze fest.

Armor: Most of it was ugly as hell. The Orelisan Battlemage armor looks like Thedas's version of a Snuggie.

Weapons:  Staffs mostly are downright ugly. What is up with Bioware having to put some ghastly ornaments on top?  Lack of T3 one-hand swords to craft.

Enchantments: Unable to put a fire enchantment in a staff etc. Where the hell is Sandal when you need him?

Zones: Too many deserts. "Oh look, here is a desert and here is another desert." Not to mention the zones were practically empty.

Too Many Animal Attacks: Between the Hinterlands to The Western Approach and The Exalted Plains, animals seem to attack you every three feet. I had no idea I was playing: Cabela's Hunt in Dragon Age.

Loot: It sucks. 99% of it gets sold.

Keeps: While fun to capture they really do not do anything. Why could it not give like a 10% timer reduction on War Table Missions? Or hell allow us to assign people there, upgrade, maintain...something...anything.

Eight Only:  In previous DA games if you could not fit excess abilities you acquired on your hot-bar or where-ever you could just click your wheel and BOOM! There they are. Now your reduced to using only eight why the rest collect dust and feel like your wasted your points.

Attributes: I prefer assigning my own points where I see fit like in the previous games.

Tactics Screen: The one we have now does not qualify. I want to be able to set-up my parties tactics like I could in the other two DA games. As of now combat is nothing more then babysitting.

Never played Dragon's Dogma, so am liking the more detailed CC we have in this series.

Liked the final ending myself; found the confrontation rather difficult for my Dwarven Archer.

Fade-Touch drops were uncommon; made crafting more challenging (Note: complaints of too soft or too hard seem conflicted).

Loved Skyhold. While it is not as detailed as it could be, it is far and away one of the better Player homes I have seen in games.

War Table is great, so I fail to use this as example of something that is terrible because it is not forced gameplay.

It seems that the Druffalo and goat quests have other options, including skipping them and combat.

My crafted armors look rather spiffy; no complaints here on variety.

Western Approach, Forbidden Oasis, and Hissing Wastes are desert areas; about a third of the total regions. Seems about right.

While not perfect, DAI is far from terrible, as are these supposed examples, IMO.
