Why is this such a huge deal to everyone when they can be massively enhanced through crafting if you really want?
Sorry just not seeing why so many folks hate that system soo much. Really am curious here.
It's a part of the role playing experience. Perhaps you'd be better suited to call of duty or some other no brain game to suit your obvious lack in intellect.

Whoa, let's keep it civil here, the last thing we want is getting the thread locked. He was curious and asked a genuine question.

i asked about shoes with +10 intelligence once. the shopkeeper looked at me funny.
attributes are immutable and define the char, equipment can be changed or lost. if i cannot decide how my attributes are distributed when my PC is learning/advancing, why do they exist? make armour impact your dodge ability directly, your sword improve the chance to hit/crit. and then place Taurens and Pandarens randomly. if the narrative decides to take away your mighty gear, you become inept meatbag - too stupid to talk, too weak to lift a sword, too clumsy to swing it.

The lack of back story for the Inquisitor is a little off putting. We got to saw the Warden in their home environment, we got to see Hawke with his family, but the Inquisitor? A few lines of dialogue with (at that point) strangers. It just doesn't have the same impact.

Lol no, I don't think he did, though he did get a port report out. He mentionned the companion app idea on the Co-Optional Podcast. Twice ![]()

Highly questionably choice of lighting in the character creator. Or rather, it's highly questionable why they put the CC in the Fade.
Really bad clipping issues. If you cannot animate the characters around their accessories (on the armor, mostly), or even shields or weapons, it's probably better not to put those accessories, shields and weapons in the game. Any coat clips with almost everything.
The game series has afwul fans.

Hmmm, well I'm not a video game developer but I could point you towards a superior product than DA:I; Witcher 3....REKT
The witcher games are based upon a book series. The writers of the games did not have to create characters at all and the games themselves are basically you playing out someone else's story with very few actual choices. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the games but from a technical and writing standpoint they are not superiour to anything Bioware can create. They also aren't exactly well-written considering that most of them play off as uber male fantasy fodder.

- not enough role play ( I can't be evil)
- combat is a mess, I can't see what's going on half of the time
- no attribute points on level up
- everyone's bald
- hair is terrible, that is probably why everyone's bald
- elven bodies and their broken arms
- human bodies... they are kinda... big
- I wouldn't mind fetch quests if there actually were interesting side quests with choices and opportunities for role play
- exploration is no fun
- this thread is more fun than the game...
- forgot to mention- game is far too easy, and I'm only playing on nightmare with friendly fire on

I would settle for the Mass Effect hair. I still don't see how the same company that makes the Sims can't give you hair that doesn't look like your younger brother cut it while you were sleeping.
They aren't made by the same company. Bioware and Maxis have nothing to do with each other. EA is the PUBLISHER not the developer of those two franchises. They give money for the game to be made, slap their name on it, advertise, and set deadlines. It's like saying "I can't believe this book publisher published "insert name of an actual good book here" and "Twilight" both!" There's no overlap, even in support staff. Game advisors for Maxis are different than the ones from sports and the rest of the games are usually lumped together. THe only exception is during a brand new release in which regular advisors are also asked to take calls from the sports and maxis queues (Or more accurately callbacks since technically it's a click to callback system.)

They share the same parent company though, so if EA wanted to, they could send a modeller from Maxis to make hair-styles for Inquisition, if they wanted too.

Namea doesn't see any point in interacting with people who have literally done nothing since the game's release but bash it to oblivion. Again, I challenge you or anyone on this forum to write, animate, or code anything half as impressive.
So if someone sells you a broken car, you wouldn't complain about it at all? You would just build your own car from scratch?

Not Geralt and his friends, but most of the supporting cast they had to create.

Game crashing every 5 hours of playtime.
Cass' face being mushy pixels, texture-pop-in's in every cutscene, Dorian's moustache-nosehair.
Lag during tactical cam and battles.
Text that's still annoyingly small in other places than subtitles cause they only fixed those.
When you hunt animals loot teleporting 10 metres away where you killed the animal and 2/3 times disapearing completely.
White thing that replaces your hair when you use hats and helmets.
Lack of hair options to qunari.
The Skyhold pyjama which doesn't make you look like powerful leader that should be taken seriously. It makes you look like you woke-up late to school with hangover and forgot to dress up.
Lack of cinematic camera when speaking to people, it takes away from immersion.
Small amount of party banter, I don't know if I have party banter bug or not, but I get like 1 party banter in 1 to 2 hours. I'd like more, like one in 15 minutes when exploring would spice up the game.
The game is still pretty good though, but it has many issues that could be fixed with some patching (technical problems) and maybe DLC (hair, CC and Skyhold pyjamas). I don't think Bioware wants to fix it though.

The rude people who will find anything to ****** about in a great game as though they could make anything even half as good.
You don't have to be a game developer to criticize a game that you find fault with. your logic is nonsensical

Crashing every 5 hours? Oh, the humanity! A game shouldn't be crashing at all, but sitting and playing for 5 hours straight is nuts, even if you're a student.

I guess you haven't heard of those people who took time off work to play DAI when it was released and pretty much played 24/7 to finish it in couple days. I don't think my playing is hardcore at all in comparison lol
And it's not like I sit there 5 hours straight without getting up at times and doing other stuff ^^;
