Cool bag, but it's just not stylish. :(

God damnit, this is my third pulse oximeter I bought.

Why have you gone through 3 of them?

BTW it looks like a phone...

Pulse ox #1 was placed on a patient's finger after she used the toilet. Soon, I realized the patient didn't wash her hands, and she had an intestinal infection. Had to throw it away. Shame.

Pulse ox #2 I let a patient's family borrow it for a day. They brought it back to my manager. But, I don't want to meet my boss so she can yell at me about lending my belongings to a patient.

This is pulse ox #3. I thought I can live without it, but some of the work pulse oximeters don't work! Not that it matters because if your fingers don't receive good circulation, you won't get an accurate reading.

LOL no. I don't have sleep apnea. I need it for work. :)

By the way, the Razer Tactical Bag is $159.00 and the dimensions are 12x18x7 inches. Aside from the style, which is too black and neon green for me, I can't really judge. I bought a black and red North face backpack for $199, but I use it for everything!

Oh so it's not that big.   I'd like it more if it didn't have all that green..   Could be good for cameras and stuff.

Oh yeah I got told I have sleep apnea so I ended up buying an expensive machine which now 2 years on I feel a bit skeptical about.

Used to use it every night but lately I have one night a week where I don't use it and still wake up bright and fresh.... The sleep studies make me skeptical as I got told my heart stops around 50 times an hour when I am asleep and I call bullsh!t on that. The doctor that did the sleep study said it had stopped once for 3 minutes . So I am skeptical..

Got Terraria for a friend.

He has become fishing obsessed.

Other than that, I'm looking at getting a new monitor for my PC soon since my current one is pretty small on the resolution.

The green throws off its charm. I'd like more variation in color, like pastels.

It is within your right to ask about diagnosis and the interpretation of medical data. Medical information is technically yours, and it's in your interest to know what information lead to a conclusion that you need a CPAP machine. Otherwise, you'll question why you're compliant.

Yeah I know.    I probably do need the machine but it's just lately I've been wondering if I need it that badly..

3 minutes is a long time to have your heart stop. If I were looking after you, I'd be calling a code and immediately start CPR.

You should go back and ask.

Well that was when I had the initial sleep study 2 years ago.......

I keep thinking if that were true why isn't it happening at home? Why am I not dead?

Instead they make it so you have to fork out $2000 on a machine you might not even need. At least that is how I feel regarding this now...  But it's done...

I dunno. The doctor probably saw it when they were doing a continuous EKG on you. I believe, though, that sleep apnea has an associated risk of mortality, but I don't know what the amount of risk is.

Are there anyone in your house that checks your pulse when you sleep?

No  ... and I really don't think or feel the need for checking my pulse.   I wake up every morning feeling fresh.

Well, if you check your own carotid pulse, you'll have one.

It's up to you, though. No one can tell you what to do.

Oh I do have one.  Funny thing is a year after I bought my machine I had a biopsy done at a skin specialist and found I had a basal cell carcinoma. Very common and easily treated. The biopsy actually took most of it but I went back and he did the surgery in his rooms as they have the facilities and while I was on the heart machine he commented that I had a very strong heart from what the machine was showing.. Had that removed under a local anasthetic.  All in the space of a couple of hours..

I also have my own stethoscope and listen to my heart often.
