I agree about the lack of story, but given that Solas means 'pride' I can see why he'd not want to explain - since it would look a bit suspicious to have to explain why his parents named him Pride!

 

I guess I was imagining something along the lines of my Inquisitor reading about the temple, ala codex, journal, signpost, something; then commenting if Solas was along (or even if he wasn't, I suppose), about the temple name being very similar to his name. And wondering what it meant. If Solas wasn't along, asking him about it later.

 

Eh, as it is, they left us hanging. Not much we can do about it.

Those puzzles were damn easy in Origins.Candy crush has better puzzles.Yes because finding body parts to summon a demon in Origins is very story relatedor better yet collecting black vials.

I collected every single shard my first go 'round and to say I was disappointed in the outcome would be an understatement. I was sure whatever reward I was going to get would be amazing. I felt like Ralphie after figuring out that Little Orphan Annie's secret message was just a commercial. (From one of the greatest movies ever)

All other playthroughs were done without bothering with the shards and they were so much better.
