Have you ever wondered how the Iron Bull would have fared against the Arishok? How Solas might have handled the conflict between the Dalish and the werewolves? What if the Inquisitor could have taken Isabela to the Winter Palace? If you’ve ever played out these scenarios in your mind, you’re not alone.

 

Who would you pick if you could assemble the ultimate Dragon Age team? To find out, we’ve built brackets containing all 30 major followers from the series. Your votes will determine which characters move on in the tournament; after the dust settles, the final warrior, rogue, mage, and hero will emerge!

 

Will Morrigan dominate in the mage division? Can Sigrun pull off a Cinderella story in the rogue division? Only you can decide!

So if I'm reading the bracket correctly, they'll have a general poll for all the followers within a class, and then a second poll for the Top 3 of that poll for each class, and then the winner of that's in.

 

Pretty cool. No indication when voting starts, looks like?

 

Alas, the only division where there will be competition is warrior. Morrigan and Varric are shoe-ins.

 

My vote:

 

Mage: Dorian, Morrigan, Solas. Winner: Morrigan

Rogue: Sera, Leliana, Isabela. Winner: Leliana

Warrior: Shale, Blackwall, Aveline. Winner: Blackwall

 

Best Hero: Hawke as 2H Warrior.

Fair enough. Just struck me as inefficient, so I wondered if I was being an idiot. That may still be true, just not as it pertains to this.

How can they possibly make me choose between Morrigan and Merrill? That's just inhumane.

The only group for the first round that I have a hard time picking between is Dorian, Wynne, and Anders. All three of them are almost always in my default party in all three games (to the point that in DA:I I was running around with a three mage party so I could have both Solas and Dorian with my mage character). 

 

I think my winning matchup would be Hawke, Solas, Alistair, and Cole. Very weird group.

Cassandra, Merrill, and Leliana for me. Tough choice between Morrigan and Merrill, but this way I have one from each game. And Merrill is a much nicer person. This is based on my subjective memory of who I found the most indispensable in each game ...
