But I hate it less than the other two, consolation prize!
Well at least we have movie stars, wine, and giant ass trees. Oregon has hipsters. And Washington has what? Rain and coffee? ![]()

if they hate each other, just means more conflict in completing either of there underlying objectives. Not that I like either anyway,

I know what you mean, Jstatham. Back in 2011 when I was in AIT (advanced individual training - where you learn about your MOS/job) a few buddies from my platoon decided to go to the store outside of the base in Missouri. Ended up running into a group of loud obnoxious haters and they threw insults at us, then one of the guys actually spit on one of my battle buddy's combat boot.
I went back the barracks disgusted that day tbh.

They just hate the war and the war it's conducted for what I'm guessing. Kind of like the hate that vets got for fighting in Vietnam. Calling them "baby killers" and saying there fighting just for America to spread it's power and all that trash. Sure, there entitled to an opinion no matter how bad it is, but yelling at solders about its is just awful. There putting their lives on to protect the rights you have to insult them. They deserve the highest caliber of respect we have to offer, not treating them like trash.

Okay, there are a lot of points to unpack here:
I want to preface what I'm about to say with this: I'm not suggesting that it's okay to show up at a soldier's funeral and berate him/her and their families or disrespect soldiers returning from combat. Far from it. What the Westboro Baptist Church does in incorrigible. However, there's no doubt that the Vietnam War and the "War on Terror" were and have been failures. Pretty much every war the U.S. has fought in from the 1960s to the present day had nothing to do with "protecting rights." Most of the wars conducted in that time period were about establishing or maintaining influence in certain regions of the world or oil wars masquerading under the mask of "freedom" and "liberation." To deny that would mean you're naive or jingoistic.
If anyone needs to be berated, it's the elected officials of our legislative branch who have thrown American lives away in pointless wars.

yes, the politics of the conflict were bad, and the hate is fine for the war, it's the hate for the troops I hate. But You basically covered my point. lel

The main thing that comes to mind right now is science denialism, and irrationality in general; when you give people the facts, they actually become more set in their ways. Frustrating as all hell.
The other thing I hate is when my GPS tells you "You have arrived at your destination," and then I look on both sides of the road and see nothing but trees and/or abandoned buildings. This happens to me a lot because (a) I have a bad sense of direction, so I have to use the GPS a lot, and (
a lot of roads in my area have very similar names, so it's easy to input the wrong address by accident.
I'll just conclude by noting that clearly, both of these things are equally serious social problems.

Toggles.
F.U.C.K. toggles.
I hate toggles because of the dragon age forums. Everyone with an opinion about a feature just says "lol just add a toggle" I am pissed off because a problem is rarely about adding a simple toggle. A toggle also gives the impression that the feature added only has two states of existence. A toggle limits the structure and how the software would evolve over time. A toggle is often misused and causes a lot of trouble. I hate that thing

- Oregon, Washington State, and California in that order
I assume you hate Washington State because we have the highest liquor tax in the country, right? Can't imagine why else you would. Generally only hipsters hate things for being good, but you said you dislike these states for being full of hipsters. Or was this post meant to be some kind of an ironic joke? That would be pretty meta.
What states do I hate? Every state east of the Rockies. There's water in the air in those places. Water isn't meant to fly, the East is just messed up.
