1) James (Wins because he's a tank with lovely personality. Could've been a bit more aggressive towards enemies, but oh well...).
2) Wrex (Tank in ME1 plus.....well, it's Wrex, you know
).
3) Garrus (War pal and a nice ME3 tank).
4) Kaidan (Pretty decent personality....much better than Ashb00bs anyway).
5) The Biotic God.

insanity run changed me...
I still run Insanity with who I want, not with who is the most suitable/useful for the situation.

Ashley got way more hate then she should have.
If she dies during the coup, she tells you that she hopes the Reapers send you to hell. She's racist in ME1, impatient, and always wants to solve problems by shooting everything. Hate her, let her die on Virmire this time around.

Don't be jealous of me.
Only be jealous of Garrus in ME3 how he spends more time with your LI Tali or if she isn't how he hooks up with her lol.
And yeah I killed that racist ****** Ashley in Virmire without a second thought lol. glad she died. ![]()

For all her racism, Ashley was spot-on in ME1, about the council throwing humanity to the wolves to save their skin. I kinda like how her relationship in me1 with my shep has some shades of gal-pal friendship (just like Miranda, in the citadel DLC)
. Still left her to die on virmire, mostly because I like how her sacrifice clears her family name. It's more poetic I think, but still hard as hell ![]()

I'm not jealous when Tali or Garrus are friends, they pretty much only have conversations over the intercom.

I just didn't like her. Just found her narrow-minded.
I mean damn how you gonna be Anti-alien and you are traveling through space?
Is that not just retarded?

I was lol.
I wanna talk to my LI and I get "Sorry I'm busy, Maybe talk later" but then she goes into full convo with Garrus like it's nothing lol.
More interactions with my LI and crew was seriously missing in ME3

While I do agree that her xenophobia is definitely a flaw (that bit about not telling aliens from the animals was a tad much), she does have a bit of a reason for it, and it also seemed mostly directed at the council races. She actually seem to have a soft spot for Tali. As for traveling through space and being anti-alien, IIRC the guy from the earthborn background-specific quest (that dude from the gang, forgot his name) aliens do travel to earth, so an isolationist policy is pretty hard to have. Add that to the fact that her family lived on colonies throughout the galaxy, and she probably saw it as the most obvious choice. But that is just my personal opinion ![]()

Her initial Racism prevented me from even inquiring that much into her lol.
It's just an innate response I have to Racists and other ignorant types of people ![]()
Get what you give and all that lol.

I don't think Ashley is by definition a racist. She is ignorant at first but she is a product of her upbringing. Her grandfather being seen as the first human to surrender to the turians and then how the military still punish her and her father even after the war was over. Kaidan on the other hand suffered at BaAT (for unspecified length of time) and snapped and killed a turian commander himself. Both of these character suffered because of alien influences and both reacted in polar opposite ways. Kaidan insisted he don't blame ALL aliens because of the actions of ONE turian (but you can choose to make him more xenophobic.. ). But Ashley blamed ALL alien races as the root cause to her family's misery but she eventually do change under Shepard's influence. So in a way, her initial xenophobic views was born out of personal resentment and immaturity.
At least, that's how I try to empathize her as a character. Xenophobia is irrational. I think the game did well to portray that.. to a degree...I guess

Sugarcoat it all you like it's still racism lol.
If my grandad was robbed by a white man before I was born, it would then be ok for me to hate all white people for the rest of my life while growing up because my parents told me to or was resented because of them and I wouldn't be classed a racist?
No sorry that is just crazy logic right there lol.

Ash doesn't "hate" aliens. Hell, she can essentially become BFF's with Tali. A bit ignorant in the first game, maybe.
Her sentiments seem to be more similar to some kind of human nationalism, ala a Renegade Shepard. Racism has an element of assumed inferiority of other races that she doesn't really express. The dog and bear metaphor she uses doesn't express that the aliens are lesser or humans are superior, just that both will tend to look out for their own interests when push comes to shove. She will sharply criticize the Terra Firma guy more than nearly any other squadmate for the party being tolerant of casual racism and xenophobia if you bring her along.
There is the infamous "aliens and animals" comment, but IIRC one of the devs has explained that it is bugged, and she was only intended to say it when examining one the keepers.

There's various degrees of racism in the world especially in diverse countries (like mine), there's always a gray area and the lines between sensitivity and tolerance values.
I don't think Ashley fit as someone who is speciest. She never hold a pro-human attitude. While I don't agree with Ashley's comments on "people and animals" but that was born out of ignorance. But the distinction here, she doesn't hate aliens because they're non-human, she simply think they're not to be trusted. I believe that a person's opinion and views can change over time and had she become persistent in that ignorance, I would feel strongly about it. But on Virmire, she volunteered immediately to be with the Salarian team. That's a big change especially since she shed her xenophobic tendency without a slice of hesitation for the Salarians! That's a turning point for her as a character... but I still sacrifice her anyway.
