Right now... my cousin is just lending his Origin account so I could play the Mass Effect Triology. Well I did in fact finish all 3 of them and I am currently on my second play-through. But his triology are all vanilla no DLC whatsoever T_T I am missing alot here. If Bioware and EA... ah who am I kidding it won't happen. I have no credit card but I have different methods of securing Steam wallet codes here and Willing to buy the GAMES again in COLLECTORS EDITION bundle with full DLC'S

Considering that ME3 is tied up with Origin from a functionality level.  This is simply not going to happen.

Yep.  I know.  I empathize with you, man.  Begging for something never works with BioWare anyway.  Look at how they shafted Wii U owners.  At least you have some way to play the Trilogy on PC.

*Sigh... it would hell be alot faster for me to buy the entire game full packed on Steam than.. Paypal or other modes with ORIGIN then BIOWARE POINTS then god knows what. I have no idea why EA and Valve quarreled each other. I say if EA is reading this and if you want more people to buy your games FREAKING DITCH ORIGIN AND GO BACK TO STEAM for crying out loud. I can't even access Dead Space 3 and Battlefield 4...

I'm pretty sure EA/Valve had something to do with DLC distribution and that Valve didn't like EA slipping the DLC sales without going through Steam (and Valve taking 30% from each DLC sold).  It's always about money.

EA seems to value DLC sales quite a bit.  Valve wants cash.  EA wants cash too. lol.

nw, sorry, but you're so wrong.

First, Steam games can have more than one DRM bundled. ME3 connected to Origin is not a reason to not sell it on Steam - most of Ubi's games use uPlay and are still sold on Steam and after you buy them you still have to register them on uPlay.

Second, keys for all EA games you bought on Steam (at least all I bought) you can use in Origin. So for example, I have Sims Medieval bought on Steam also registered on Origin with the same key I got on Steam.

Third, yes, EA can be greedy, but not all the time. DLC sales? Cmon. See, on Origin, currently season pass and all DLC for Titanfall are free:

https://www.origin.c...wse?q=titanfall

Unbelievable, right? ;)

Back to the actual problem.

EA has problems with Valve. Noone else. Valve has problems with EA and with noone else. And noone apart from Valve and EA knows what the hell is going on.

But unless EA and Valve settle their differences about most probably some irrelevant thing, we will not see ME3 ot ME trilogy on Steam.

I wish EA does release the trilogy with all DLC included on Steam. Some friends of mine would finally buy it then. Because so far they refuse to pay the current (virtual currency) price for DLC.

the war is on for who will be the dominant digital distributor. In the meantime the various competitors won't talk politely to each other and use every trick up their sleeves. In the video game world, exclusivity is unfortunately a classic.

Well, Steam would let them avoid Bio points. But it's not like EA would suddenly like having DLC sales just because they worked things out with Valve.

The reason Mass Effect 3 and the trilogy are not on Steam is because Steam started demanding that DLC, for games on Steam, should also be sold through Steam. EA said "Hell no" to that and pulled ME 3 and other upcoming games from their Steam lineup.

Steam got a little greedy there. On the other hand, EA and other game publishers have been putting a lot of content into DLC to make more money.

I don't think either company is in the right on this.

I imagine Valve gets some sort of revenue cut from the games they distribute from the publishers and EA is probably the most greedy publisher in the world next to Activision so there's no way they'd end up on Steam again.

Not gonna happen. Ever.

Bioware is all the way EA Origin and not looking back.

More likely that BW removes old games from Steam and add them to Origin than bringing new games back from Origin to Steam imho.

:c I've heard Bioware is planning a re-master... I think the only way for me to get that if it ever gets released is to buy a physical copy

Well to be fair... and steam / origin preferences aside... then you should also be able to buy the games from steam, on origin. :)

Probably won't gonna happen until EA goes banktrupt. Because mass releasing stuff over many platforms after making them exclusive means defeat, we all know that.

Even if they lose money by withdrawing games from Steam, which i doubt it since Valve's 30% share is massive, they can't afford this to happen until it is game over for EA.(aka 0.0001% chance)
