How about an Inquisition remake with REAL classic RPG combat and character build included?
How about an Origins remake with DAI's real time combat included?

No thank you. I wouldn't mind a remake but only improvements to graphics while leaving everything else intact as it was in the original version. I liked the combat in Origins just fine so would prefer not to have things from DA:O be taken away like that.

Heck let's go balls out and do Inquisition with full turn based CRPG combat.

Do you think the OP is serious, or just trolling?

I still enjoy playing Origins as it is, particularly since there are so many mods :3
That being said, I wouldn't necessarily be against seeing an "anniversary edition" or something similar, in the future. My only quip would be that I'd hope they'd include a few new things that would have been at home from the start
like the Grey Warden armor design introduced in DA2.
The other thing, assuming they'd use Inquisition's graphics engine, is that we might be much more limited as far as modding goes, depending on how successful the modding community is without a tool set (they're clever though, so I remain optimistic in this regard).

When I think of an RPG with turn-based combat, I think of old-school JRPGs,

I would actually prefer this to Bioware's real time with pause. At least from a game mechanics stand point.

Did you play Divinity: Original Sin? It's turn based combat was fantastic. A game with DA story, characters, dialogue, cutscenes, etc. with Divinity combat would be the perfect game in my book.

Still been meaning to do that. By all accounts, the game is absolutely amazing. I actually have a lot of free time at the moment, so I don't even have an excuse as to why I haven't touched it yet.

Origins has a good story and many nice quests.
But Origins is a classic RPG. It wasn't designed to be played as an action game.
If you don't like the combat but you don't like the story, you need to choose what is more important to you. Just like those of us who hate Inquisition combat and play it for the plot, the dialogues or the exploration.

No, Dragon Age Origins has already been done, you want to play Origin and relive that story again, great, go play Origins again. I detest remakes be that games or movies. No remake is ever as good as the original, so lets leave it at the original.

Thing of it is that would be possible. It would be a huge undertaking and names would have to be charged but with the D:OS world builder, would be possible.Heck let's go balls out and do Inquisition with full turn based CRPG combat.
PoE is also supposed to have a world builder too eventually.

(to 9TailsFox) If I have to choose between two gorillas brawling and two guys ineffectually hiding, I'm going with the gorillas... unless it is two gorillas ineffectually hiding because the image of a huge gorilla trying to hide behind a bush is just hilarious - what were we talking about again?

We talking about combat. Topic is remake DA:O with Inquisition combat witch was most horrible I see.
Main reason why I play DA is story. Shoot me if you want may favorite combat is DMC hack and slash. So my perfect game would be DMC combat with Witcher storytelling. I think Witcher do your choices mater much better than DA shoot me second time.
So
DA:O combat was fine I liked I see nothing to fix.
DA:2 combat was fine one complain enemy's coming from nothing.
DA:I "combat" is horrible No tactics 8 skills thank the Maker I play mage at least range can hit enemy as close combat is horrible rogue miss like 50% attack and just attack air. And I am talking just about PC. On old gen consoles game actually unplayable.

I'd settle with just being able to actually RUN in Origins. The slow ass trotting along when weapons are drawn got old fast. I always loved how Hawke was able to go full speed at an enemy with her daggers out.
The haste spell actually made you run faster, really miss it actually, the Dorian version sucks.
