Well I know this is a weird question to ask in a gaming forum but it is under off topic anyway.

So here's my problem..  I just got a brand new Asus Zenfone 6 4 months old has a 2 year warranty. Recently I noticed something on the screen... in the upper middle portion is a red stuck pixel which does not change color no matter what and on the extreme right side of the screen is a blue stuck pixel. I don't mind the blue one because it blends in with black at the lowest brightness but the red is a 100% annoying driving me mad. I tried the stuck pixel remover methods no avail... should I send it back? What causes these problems? My desktop monitor is bigger but not a single stuck pixel.

Also note this phone has a 6 inch screen .. verry annoying pixel

I would.  If a screen has dead pixels then it could be faulty and more pixels could "die" as time goes on leading to a screen with a bunch of stuck pixels.

That's exactly what happened... first there was only one red pixel... then the blue one came up o.0 that's it I'm returning it thanks man. Going back to my old Nokia feature phone

Smartphones suck. I myself am regretful that I bought one. If I want to use the Internet it's much easier and more enjoyable on PC or laptop. Its programs and games aren't much exceptional and interesting.

Possibly a non-smart cell phone with a 12GB camera would do for me the best.

Or even if I didn't want a camera:

The reason why I bought a smartphone is because I really need it. Printing law cases is expensive so I just copy and paste it on ms word and send it to my phone and read my cases on the go. Or e-books... laptops are heavy and I don't own a car... so I wrap my phone with a plastic bag inside my bag during rainy days while I ride my motorcycle xD

Could have just been a fault during manufacturing that didn't get caught.

You should be able to return it without issue since it is under warranty and dead pixels are commonly due to faulty hardware or improper assembly.

In that case you might want a windows phone Nokia like Lumia 930. Pretty high spec and only 167 grams.

Too small. The reason why zenfone 6 got my attention is because it has 6 inch screen good for reading, cheap price with goodbang for your buck factor.. nova and asphalt 8 is already on ultra settings and a 13mp camera. Thanks for the suggestion but I already bought this phone... I am just one of the unlucky people in the statistics with a faulty screen

I would turn it in. It might sound funny, but I would be fixated on the one dead pixel every time I looked at my phone. It's like cleaning a mirror and finding a smudge. lol

Pretty much sums up everything how I feel. I hope when I do get a replacement or they repair my screen... the freaking dead pixels would be gone.... forever. I mean my desktop lcd screen is bigger but not a single defective pixel

That's rather unaware. Twice unaware. But I guess some people don't care, as long as they're happy with their phones and believes that's all to it.

That's not unaware. I've had several brands of phones myself PLUS I used to own my own phone store on the side. So naaaah.... NOT unaware ;)

Except for a tablet. Since they like to change chargers every year forcing you to buy a new tablet if your charger cord breaks... >.>

What are you talking about? Samsung tablets? The galaxy tablet I have can be charged with the universal usb plug like the other other phones plus I've had no problems with it for those three years I've had so far.

Maybe the chargers are different from country to country.. or maybe you're talking gibberish... lol

I bought my mum a tablet for Christmas a few years ago. Her charger is starting to cark it, so we go hunting for a new one. A clerk said it won't work cause yadda yadda.  I thought he was just pulling a sales pitch  <_<

So we went to another store bought a samsung galaxy charger from there. Used it or tried to but it didn't fit.

It's probably an Australian thing, we get fucked in the ass by electronic companies all the time. I'm not surprised they tried this though sadly enough.

I'm sorry to hear that DD :( I hate it when if I get some electronic I've been looking forward to and then it turns out to be faulty or crappy.

In the end no brand is completely flawless or perfect, I guess it's sometimes pure luck if you get a faulty product or not.

Yeah. This **** happens. Thankfully it's over 3 years old and that's a longer life than most electronics. Thankfully she can still charge it but it's slow and can be very fussy.
