Geth = Cylons

Geth =/= Cylons. A single geth is a program. The geth we fight are really mobile platforms with hundreds of geth inside them. Cylons are not. The concept of rogue AI is a classic SciFi theme. The Discordian Rule of Fives applies here, you're searching too hard for BSG references, ergo your reality tunnel shifts to create them.

Yes, althought you have to go through the Omega 4 relay right after the crew is abducted or I think Gabby dies.

Nope, it's just how prepared are you when you go I've never had my crew die, only a few party members. Gabby and Ken and Kelly always live. YAY!!!
