I'm an european and i recieved my CE copy yesterday, installed, redeemed codes and downloaded the dlc's, bought the wardens keep dlc for 560 points, and started playing.
Everything worked great, except for now that I start the game again all the dlc's are gone and in-game items are gone, and the stone prisoner dlc(which came with the CE) and wardens keep are available for download...

And ALL of my dlc's are listed as "unauthorized" and have dissapeared from the game, I have saves that shows shale standing next to me, and I have alistair in a warden armour from wardens keep, yet when I load the save shale isn't there and everything else dlc related have dissapeared.

Anyone else encountered this?
Or if I can get a dev response?
I don't know if I activated my game too early or something?

This will happen if the game thinks a different player/account is playing, than the one that downloaded the DLC.

You don't need to be online to play the game/DLC, but you need to remain in the same player profile/account - in the main menu, at the bottom left of the screen under 'Log In' button it'll list the email address of the current account. Make sure that is the same email/account used to purchase/download the dlc.

Alternatively, just login again with that account and it should re-authorize all the dlc under that account. You should then be able to logout again.

I dunno about that. If so, and he's talking about the Xbox 360 version, then someone didn't discuss the terms of usage that're on the download with the developers. It clearly states the DLC is available to everyone on the console.

It won't do that on 360 - it'll work as any other DLC there which means any gamertag on that box will be able to play it.

I don't see why it'd be different on PC, either, though. The game's installation wouldn't effect it in that sense, if my experience with other games which have optional expansions/downloads says anything.

We designed that way on PC. The PC game doesn't have a similar account concept as a gamertag so it needed to be handled differently.

No I'm playing it on the PC

So did what you said and logged off, fixed the unauthorized content and got shale back, but still lost all of my dlc items, and items from wardens keep :(

Any idea how to get those back?

Not sure if I'm following.

So now no content is unauthorized? It all exists in Installed tab, and is enabled?

And reloading a previous save no longer has dlc items in it? Or starting a new game?

From a previous save, not a new game

I have the same issue , i have all the dlc installed but when i get into the game , i see some of them are unauthorized content. ive found a way to fix it , its pretty the same way i used to make them appear in the download tab ingame.

Windows key + R

Type :services.msc

Found Dragon age and start it manually

it will unlock all content you have downloaded. It work with windows seven , i dont know if its a known issue from guys at bioware support , maybe they gonna fix this in a futur patch. you gonna have to do it every time before you start the game until they fix it.

hope this help

Hmm, if that works you should be able to go to admin tools, services, find the updater service and right-click - there should be an option to set it from 'manual' to 'automatic' (you may need to hit Properties first).

I had this problem, and this solution worked. I had already finished soldiers peak however and stashed a lot of stuff in the party chest, including the blood armor. When i reactivated the add on i got a message saying "quest updated" and Levi Dryden was back in my camp. Just as if it had never happened before, he gives me the quest and i set off for soldiers peak. When I got there though, there was nothing. No skeletons, no party chest, no Drydens. I tried to restart the game and re-enter the area, and this time Dryden magically appeared, following me around. Thats all he does though, he will not speak to me other than to say "there is more up ahead". Re entering again yields no further results.

It seems I have lost my party chest and a bunch of stuff I was saving for later. I am really bummed about this :(

Anyone know what i can do? Any console command or something? Pretty please?

Edit: for clarification: Soldiers peak had dissapeared from the map, i had to take the mission to make it appear again. Loading an older save did not help, it seems this was a game-wide bug, not confined to my savegame.

In my game, every DLC quest remains completed - but now, hours upon hours after I did those quests, the items obtained during said quests have disappeared, which just *slightly* puts a damper on everything since I was kind of counting on those items to, you know, progress. :x

I have the exact same problem under Windows 7 (64-bit) and manually starting the service seems to fix it. I got a new machine in large part due to buying Dragon Age, but it hasn't been smooth.

Dragon Age ran perfectly under Windows XP.

Btw, I love that the game is in effect calling me a dirty pirate. Who said that DRM couldn't possibly get worse than TAGES and SafeDisc?
